Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Nice outing for Correia. Somehow. I wonder if you give him the quick hook tonight, or ride the wave of luck?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Nobody say nothin'! Let's not jinx anything here.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 He kept looking into the catcher, then stepping off the rubber and starting over. Hargrove would've gotten beaned more, if he'd tried that kind of malarkey.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Keeps taking off and putting on the glove? Hmmm. Not sure why, but this comment made me think of a former Boston shortstop. http://c.o0bg.com/rf/image_r/Boston/2011-2020/2011/09/23/BostonGlobe.com/Sports/Images/Garciaparra%27s%20Habits%207-003.jpg

If they can somehow get two more good innings from him, I say they thank their lucky stars and call it a night for him.

Ok, but promise that no later than the middle of the 6th, there will be a righty, a lefty, and an AC-130 gunship warming up in the pen. http://crackberry.com/sites/crackberry.com/files/styles/w325/public/images/wallpaper_20090324110236_14685866912.jpg?itok=rFyLig9M
Tibs Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 That's not a fun spot to get hit with a pitch
zchrz Provisional Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 The stage is now set for a drag bunt, great acting from Arcia and Nunez.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Morales=singles hitter...sweet!I just saw a double
Tibs Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Has anyone mentioned how awesome Arcia's haircut is? Just goes with his personality
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Morales now 1-4. Just like the Twins to go out and sign a .250 hitter with no power. ....don't look now but he's doubled his average .
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I just saw a doubleWhat you saw was a triple, that resulted in a double.

longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 That's not a fun spot to get hit with a pitch Yeah. You know, in a lifetime of playing amateur baseball, I've never seen a batter hit one off the instep. Just shows how much heavier the pros throw the ball...thank god.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 And with your 65th birthday coming up, we're proud of your two-plus decades of accomplishment.Following the Demographic here on TD game thread, your estimate would be correct.

When I read this: "We need innings," Gardenhire said of the decision to extend Guerrier's outing. "It looked like Matty was starting to lose it there. We were trying to get him through another inning, at least through a couple hitters." this morning, my first thought was that we are headed for a 13-man pitching staff again. Not sure that comment jives with Gardenhire pulling Correia quickly.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Arcia & Pinto (Venezuela), Nuñez & Santana (Dominican Republic) and Morales (Cuba). No Puerto Ricans? I guess we have to wait for Rosario and Berrios.
