I honestly wonder sometimes why HS guy wouldn't sign if a team threw 500k at him and a college scholarship if his career didn't pan out. I get it if there's a reasonable chance he comes out of college as a first or maybe second rounder, but that's pretty tough to do.

BA updated their draft database, they have Cederoth at slot as reported by mlbtraderumors. They also have Steele at $115,000 and LeBlanc at $90,000

I'm interested to see Tyree Davis. He was a pretty highly-regarded kid early in his high school days, but fell off. I expected him just to go to college, but it doesn't appear that he was committed anywhere. Long, lean, a switch-hitter, Perfect Game called him a "high-ceiling" player.

 

I would consider both him and Gonzalez the lottery tickets we would have liked to see earlier.

Yes, I guess 5% is the number. I was thinking up to 10% is only finacial penalties but looks like that isn't the case. I wonder if that changed.

Put it in the freezer for a couple hours and then try putting it back in the system. It won't fix things per say, but it might get you a couple hours of usability to recover your data.

This. It works a surprising amount of the time. Be sure to enclose the HDD in a plastic bag with as much air removed as possible to avoid condensation.

 

If you get it back up and running, invest in Crashplan.com. It's worth the $6 a month to back up your entire HDD off-site.

 

I have all my data backed up to a server in-house and then to a remote server with Crashplan. You never realize just how valuable data is until you lose some or all of it.
