Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Get Pelfrey out of there before he blows this game. He's in line for the win now and his confidence isn't in the cellar. Send someone else out for the 6th. Baby steps. crud. Who else expects bad things this inning?
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Who wants to go to a Rays game and sit at the kitchen table? Judging by the attendance, no one. That must be the walmart deck furniture porch...brought to you by sh*tty walmart garden center (i had a bad experience).
big dog Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Well, that ball got to the outfield fast. Who's up in the pen? Ready yet?...Ready now?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Geez, Heath Bell looks like he's growing into a catcher. Was he always that big?Looks more like he ate a catcher.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 So tell us, Ron, what was your thought pattern sending Pelfrey out for the sixth?
big dog Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Good call on taking Pelf out. Call Gardy next time.
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Why the ef did he get sent in the first place. This start just prolongs him from being dled or bullpenned. Man i dislike pelf
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Gardy is certainly is not a history buff. He refuses to use it to help predict future results
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Drat. Sacrifice bunt takes them out of the triple play. For some reason, i always want to see a triple play... Oh well.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Thus are the issues of a pitcher who never K's anyone. Too many balls in play, eventually some find holes. How can you possibly go there as an alleged fan of a team that makes hit opportunities available more often than any other in baseball? Anti-growth much?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 All three Rays fans in attendance are annoying.
afurry91 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Ummm... I believe I called this. This happens all too often. Hopefully the reliever can pull a double play out of his hat.
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Ummm... I believe I called this. i call that the sun will rise tomorrow
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Ummm... I believe I called this. You and every sentient being in the Western Hemisphere... edit: except one. Re-edit: It's possible I had it right the first time.
afurry91 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 You and every sentient being in the Western Hemisphere... edit: except one. Damn you, Gardy
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 There was absolutely no excuse to send Pelfry out there for the 6th. I am trying to remain a Gardy supporter, but he is making it so darn hard:mad:
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 All three Rays fans in attendance are annoying. Boots on the ground report that there were seventy two. But yes, those three were annoying.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 With a little luck we can break the team record for k's in a season. It's always good to have goals!

Sending Pelfrey out meant he only had to use 3/7th's of it to get through the 6th.
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Have we ever tried swarzie in the rotation before?
afurry91 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Have we ever tried swarzie in the rotation before? When he first got called up.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Who is it with the logo of the kid with the sour look on his face?It was Winston I was thinking of!
Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Those Rays fans, man. Get a little creative you stupid ****ers.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Have we ever tried swarzie in the rotation before?28 career starts, none since 2012.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 It was Winston I was thinking of!That's...not his face.
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 28 career starts, none since 2012. iirc he struggled after the first time through the line up... Kind of like the Ray's starter tonight
Twins Twerp Provisional Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Those ray fans knew we would unload 8 pitchers today so they could yell all there names. And the swarzie thing was #sarcasm as he has been yanked between starting and bullpen more than anyone i can remember...even this winter
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Have we ever tried swarzie in the rotation before? Fangraphs says yes, so gonna go with no to avoid running for my life like Karate Kid in the shower getup.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 It was Winston I was thinking of! I was sent to the corner late last season and nobody has told me I can come out yet! The moderators can be real..... never mind or I'll never get out.
