Dirt mentioned that he's 6'7" and two fitty. So if he fails as a pitcher, we should all be confident that he could have another go as an athlete in the NBA as a less-bald Barkley when Love doesn't come to town.

Alex Meyer is currently on a: 6 shutout inning/1 hit/10K game with Rochester (3Ks on Middlebrooks, 2K on Roberts). The arb cutoff date can't come soon enough.

I'm looking at this photo and I'm amazed at the modern camera and its abilty to stop action.

 

However... I wonder about the physics at play that cause his clothes to fly off and fly off in that fashion... One shoe on the ground and the other airborne. And how did his underwear stay on if his socks came off with his shoes?

Bouncing the curve to move the runner up didn't help.

That is true... Kinda like falling down the stairs backwards after getting punched in the face doesn't help the black eye.
