Averaging a home run every nine plate appearances is nice and all, but let's see him go the other way more and move runners with bunts and quality at bats before he takes away playing time from Kurt Suzuki.

Pinto homer is pretty cool.

 

I think we have found a guy who can catch 75 games a year and DH a bunch more. Just need to find the catching partner for him long term. I think Arcia is DH when he is catching and in the OF when pinto isn't catching.

Rex Hudler may be the worst broadcaster in all of baseball, but even he was right about something. Why was Plouffe playing so far back on the bunt attempt?

He was up on the grass and stepping forward. Positioning was alright in my opinion.

This happened a few times last year with KC. Disappointing that it's always handled the same way. BP is rested thanks to gib and rick. I leave KC in if those two starts didn't happen.

He's out-homering Babe Ruth. If his only two catching skills were calling for and catching only fastballs and throwing the ball back to the pitcher underhanded, he should see more time behind the plate than GadZukesie.

 

Was what I meant. Because sarc./snark helps me digest Twins baseball.

I lived in LA for years. At one point, the Dodgers had Scully announcing. The Angels had Hudler.

 

It is not humanly possible to have a larger discrepancy between announcing talent in the same city.
