Maybe one or two others, but let's not get carried away.

"Breakdown"

"Refugee"

"Don't do me like that"

"Even the Losers" (get lucky sometimes)

"The Waiting" for him not to suck (is the hardest part)

"You Got Lucky" on that seeing eye dribbler

"Don't Come Around Here No More" if you can't hit your weight

"[Pedro] Won't Back Down"

"Learning to Fly" (and I ain't got wings)

"Runnin' Down a Dream" of batting .100

"Free Fallin'" toward batting .050

Ok, you win, that's pretty much all of them.

"God it' so painful when something that's so close,

Is still so far out of reach"

Yep, that's all of them

It's bittersweet being a Florimon fan right now. He looks outstanding defensively, but terrible offensively. Obviously, he's had some quality at bats (fouling pitches off, making pitchers throw lots of pitches, taking the odd walk etc.) and is putting the bat on the ball, but he's just not missing gloves with the ball.
I like having a plus defender at shortstop, but Pedro's at-bats would not go down as "quality". Yes, he has hit some balls hard, but he has struck out over a third of the time. He's mixed in a lot of weak grounders and popups in as well.

1. Eduardo Nunez was acquired from the Yankees last week and is in Rochester training for a utility role.

2. Eduardo Escobar is also a SS option but the Twins don't seem overly high on him.

3. A Kid named Santana is also playing SS in a Rochester but he hasn't knocked down the door.

4. Dozier is going nowhere.

5. Eddie Rosario is the highly rated 2B prospect currently under suspension. Eddie will have to play his way on to the team. Dozier won't go down easy.

How can we leave out the prospect of a youthful infusion of Doug Bernier?

His 10 strikeouts in 34 trips to the plate gives him a strikeout rate among the top 30 in the entire league. Not quite what I would call putting the bat on the ball.

Now that's what I call a quality AB.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how a Dominican could struggle in North America in April.

Hopefully it's just the April weather.

SS Polanco has the highest wOBA in the Florida State League....and a heckuva athlete....
Having seen Polanco play several times, I am not sure he's up for being a major league shortstop. I think he's a second baseman and also after April 1st, Fort Myers is a long ways from Minnesota.

It's a fine way to avoid hitting the ball into a glove.

And here we were all convinced that Butera and Hicks would set records for futility that would never be broken.....

Whoa, whoa, whoa, what did Chris Colabello ever do to you?

I think he meant... Cola's batters gloves are the size of Nishioka.

wtf is the matter with these fans? And then they still had the gall to ask for the ball after? I wouldn't give it to them either!

Aoki could try leaving his eyes open. Just a thought.

Someone buy that fan a beer.

Did you notice on the replay that the right fielder had his eyes closed when the ball hit his glove?

When a hitter has a 0.71 batting average / .161 OBP, he's obviously not having nearly enough quality at bats.

Hey now, Drew has his career OPS up to .493 after his scorching hot 8 PA start (.661 OPS!) this season.

I saw him play last year in Cedar Rapids and I tend to agree with you, but since the "new normal" standards for SS have now included some semblance of hitting ability and Nunez apparently qualifies in this regard, I thought I'd throw his name in the hopper,

This is why we need Pinto in the line up!

Averaging a home run every nine plate appearances is nice and all, but let's see him go the other way more and move runners with bunts and quality at bats before he takes away playing time from Kurt Suzuki.
