I just watched it last night for the first time in 30 years. It was great.

 

It is good. I was lucky to spend a day and night camping in January in the Jordanian desert Wadi Rum where they filmed the move. Stunning! And Lawrence is still a god in the minds of the Bedouins.

Gladdy must be back on the sauce. Sending the catcher home when the active player with the highest career batting average is in the on deck circle. There's aggressive, and there's dumb...and Dan missed the category this one fell into.

Agree that he will come around, but it sure does seem odd to see him in a slump like this. That always seemed to be one of his best assets was avoiding these.
