1. Brian's not able to think today, so you are stuck with me. I can't even come near His Witty-ness, so I won't even try.

3. Getting used to a fancy new website. We old timers may take some time to figure things out. So don't expect to see Chief for at least a week. And I'm one to talk. I myself couldn't log on, so thanks to Brock coming to my rescue, I'm here long enough to post this thread then back to work. It's a concert night.

4. Sale v Darnell. I'm just gonna hold my breath and hope for something good.

You know your team is a mess when Eduardo Nunez is your DH.

 

Some people insist this team has improved itself this year, but it's hard to believe it when you look at this lineup.

Hughes is an upgrade, I'll grant that. Santana probably is, though it's still a pretty small sample size. Outside of those two, it's tough to find any new player who is an improvement, and will be here next year (I don't believe Suzuki will).

Oh!  LOL!  Now I understand the chopping off fingers comment.  Hahahaha ... my signature.  When we were testing the system, some of the other moderators liked to mess with my profile a bit.  So I put that in there as a deterrent.    It seemed to have worked, for now.

Nice facelift TD. I can't think of a game where the Twins would be a bigger underdog at home. But you never know in baseball.

I predict that today will be the low ebb for the Twins this year.

It's a pretty low ebb.  Plus they had a team meeting last night .... called by Gardy ... sounds like the 1st all year.

If you ask Brock in the thread on the new TD, he'll probably remove the warning points.  They were all messed up on how many everyone had.  He said something about just giving everybody a fresh start (he removed mine).

 

But apparently you can only see your own points not anyone else's.

I thought about posting a new thread on it but I've said it so many times I just feel like I'm repeating myself.  The Strib comments in Howard's column tend to be a little tamer than on articles and yet they are still really heavily in favor of a change.
