  1. Agreed, but remember a tie is a win for Cleveland unless we sweep this series.
  2. I'm getting excited about Keirsey, but don't want to witness him in that role.😂 I am sceptical he could out punch the mammoth Gallo 😂
  3. D Barrels is on fire with a 2.200 OPS in September, lol. Seriously with this run he is on his season numbers are closing in on his peak years with the Giants in '19 and '20.
  4. Cleveland can't win em all. Still 5 games heading into the final series. Sweep em and get the tie breaker. Ova then
  5. Was thinking the same thing at that point bro
  6. As a starter. This is a new role where I heard he was hitting 100. He could be a real weapon, if they have a methodical approach I'm willing you wait it out.
  7. He played 2 of 3 against Cleveland last series.
  8. I think this is true in this case because it was their last lefty, so let Julien go and you have him the rest of the game. Plus he was 2 for 3 at the time.
  9. They are in the process of getting Louie ready for reliever work in the bigs. I've been thinking it would be wise to have him debut in that role against a little softer lineup than this one.
  10. Man the Twins like left handed hitters. Martin could be a very valuable addition to the Twins outfield mix next year with that righty bat
  11. When I was putting this together BTG ninja'd me on it. May as well highlight it since he said it better than I would have. I think they even mentioned Eddie's leg on the broadcast. Anyway, a good move and their intentions were proved out by going for the steal. There was some fun, aggressive small ball in this game. I don't remember a Twins team going for so many safety squeezes, what an exciting play.
  12. That was entertaining, f Cleveland Edit: yeah well except my wife works for a company based in Cleveland and the ching comes in handy, so I guess I'll take that back
  13. Yeah maybe on Ober, but he does tend to start slow in his outings before settling in.
  14. After posting this I realized this sentence should have read, "It is becoming obvious that this may be where Buxton is at, unfortunately."
  15. This is a good point and if true, offers some hope.
  16. I'd argue the opposite. Tendon repairs can be done multiple times to the same joint. They can result in a completely healthy joint (as long as the cartilage is intact). It is cartilage damage that is the most serious injury for an athlete. It cannot be repaired, only mitigated. There is no current technology to replace cartilage. This sort of degenerative damage is what leads to knee replacement. It is becoming obvious that this is where Buxton is at, unfortunately.
