  1. Using up all our chits tonight
  2. The Twins have been getting calls all night. Not that there's anything wrong with that
  3. Yep Larnach is looking good. Very nice to see.
  4. Kopech is in the pen now, eh? Bummer, not Aaron
  5. I'm not so sure how optimistic I am in the moment. Luckily for me I was in Florida last week and could only see one game, a victory, lol. For me the poor decisions fall on ownership, but was anybody excited about Santana, Margot or DeSclafani? It would have made more sense to put what meagre budget they were given solely to pitching, the rotation first then bullpen and supplement the lineup with young in-house talent. Nonetheless this core played well against the best of the American League last year and without major setbacks they could do it again.
  6. Feeling pessimistic, eh? In spite of this start I'd be surprised in they finish with less than 82 wins. If Kepler is going to produce a .800 plus OPS that number goes up. Get Duran, Correa, Lee and Lewis healthy. In the meantime Martin, Larnach and Miranda get a chance to make tough decisions for the front office. The only way this season tanks as you describe is if their rotation suffers long term injuries to Pablo, Ryan and or Ober.
  7. Max has great incentive this season. What are the odds Minnesota resigns him if he has another plus .800 OPS season? I'm guessing slim. This is likely our last year with Kep. There is a chance this conditioned athlete has a lot left.
  8. Mmmm what an appetizing presentation! Chicken worms, yum.
  9. These games count too, thankfully.
  10. Among the general population maybe. Pro athletes get more press, but are not more likely to offend than the general populous. The opposite is true actually.
  11. Nice analysis but I'm hoping it's erroneous, lol. I'm the one calling Julien's bat special all off-season. We will see.
  12. This series could leave a pretty good feeling or a super bad apocalyptic feeling. Or, of course, something in the middle. The only selection not available is the super magnificent feeling.
  13. 👍👍👍 Split em up!
  14. You would also hope that they learned their lesson when they had Bundy and Archer back to back stressing the pen. This year it has been Louie and Paddack.
  15. Seth listed the score for five consecutive innings, then looked up the zip code for those numbers. Probably did this while keeping score. Multi tasking.
  16. I had the same thought this off-season about your first sentence. As to your second sentence, I think it's safe to say that nobody knows what we will get from Max.
  17. Gads Wallner is a mess, I feel bad for the young man. Chin up. Kepler is playing for some tall Euros this year, he better bring his A game.
