    Jocko, the Pohlads are responsible for this mess and yes it's a mess. The way people consume media is changing. This billionaire organization apparently couldn't see this coming, or even if they did their approach has gotten us here. They chose short term cash from an undeniably dubious organization instead of making their product widely available even after promising just that. Now when their viewing audience has been reduced to a small fraction of is previous size, they act like victims in a battle they can't control. This is just bad and uninspiring business on many levels. It is compounded by an unbelievably tone-deaf sense of public relations. The Pohlads handling of this situation coupled with a real chance to grow their business at a time of success and goodwill is just comical. Hence the well earned jokes.

    Coming into the season the Twins didn't have enough confidence in the health and or performance of Miranda and Kirilloff to cover first even as a duo. At the time I would've preferred them rolling with those guys to signing Santana.

    Frat party, that's funny. Plouffe full-time? Maybe not but to me it's better than Morneau. Cory has been great with all of them, bringing a more conversational style and helping Morneau loosen up a bit, so he deserves some credit. I just get so frustrated with Morneau droning on and on that I just can't take it. It is BORING. The worst thing that happens with last night's three headed monster is it gets a little distracting. I'll take that every time.

    With only 13 position players it is hard to hide anyone. The FO has shown some aggressive moves with young players, demoting underperformers. They have not shown the willingness to part ways with veterans. I get that it can be a tough balancing act. Every game counts, let's get the best team out there. Based on their track record I would put Jackson as most likely with Margot second.

    At first I disagreed with this, but know enough not to just hit the thumbs down, lol. Dman makes the pertinent point. When I get a thumbs down sometimes I feel cheated because I want to know what was actually disagreed with. Sometimes it's just a factional thumbs down, for example the fire Baldelli crew chiming in and it is obvious what is intended. That is where this site devolves into something close to our national discourse. Other times we seem to operate in an open space of ideas and not just a polarized one. That is when we all are at our best. For me the thumbs down is for when the person is obviously closing off good discourse. Of course who am I to judge that? So I'm on the fence with thumbs down. It is interesting that on YouTube there is a thumbs down that apparently never gets used. If someone understands why, let me know. There is one emoji I will not let die!!!

    Yes and it is all on demand. For example I wanted to watch Varland and Duran pitch the other day, easy, took about half an hour. Wanna watch Soto pitch or Winokur's plate appearances? Dial it up.

    I don't think so. I'm also not sure we know what they really think of the fielding skills of any of these guys, lol. Kirilloff is healthy it appears, that might help.
