  1. WJ for president! I mean really my neck it's stiffening up. I didn't realise how much I relied on the previous regime to keep it loose. Might have to take up yoga.
  2. Well we've got Berrios locked up for three more years and that sweet Perez deal for one more (I wonder if the previous regime would have already extended that for three more ☺). It's going to be interesting how it all shakes out. The only deals signed so far are ridiculously team friendlies for Polanco and Kepler which leads me to believe the offers for Gibby and Berrios were on the low side. There is going to be pressure to develop starters payroll wise but that is going to be a while so they have to sign at least one of Odo or Gibby right? Does this happen during the season or are we looking a busy off season with lots of hand wringing? Can they talk Berrios or say Buxton or Perez (if they keep performing) into longer deals? Would they even do a long term deal if it isn't super team friendly? Kinda off topic.
  3. Nothin but green grass and high times forever on that bullpen chart!
  4. I like these reviews plenty! They put a nice perspective on things and can be reassuring after a disappointing end of week loss.
  5. Now thatsa what I like my paisano! Nothing better than one zip! Crisp clean dubya
  6. Gibby coming around is a huge relief. That bullpen looks rested might come in handy against the damn Astros. Talk to me in four days.
  7. Let's not forget how frustrating he was for the bulk of his Twins tenure.
  8. From what I've seen i'd rather have Cron all day long. His glove looks good enough to have nobody mentioning how we miss Joe's and he seems to me to be a more well rounded hitter than two outcomes Austin.
  9. Hildy may just prove the second half last year was the outlier and he is quite ready.
  10. Fun to play the Orioles! Lets see if that team from the crappy park in the crappy town down south is still any good. A good test. MESS WITH TEXAS! Texas is responsible for the all caps.
  11. The only way to win with this pen is to use em. That's how they will get confidence and be sharp . That was my beef with Molitor and why I liked brining Mejia in last night. If it had been done sooner and he hadn't sat for a week we might have gotten another w. Of course you got to pick your spots and put guys in position where they can succeed.
  12. It's true my post aside when Sano is going good he just seems dangerous at the plate and, of course, Judge is the judge.
  13. Yes I know I'm going to sound like Black Jack but I have a hard time abiding all the k's. The double play that doesn't happen because of the shift, the saunter to third and the k's probably make me look like I just sucked on a lemon.
  14. I think Byron Buxton might be pretty good. After all the sturm und drang I guess he just starts playing like a star? Hilarious. Is he still a Twin? Good thing they treated him like crap last fall ☺. Pretty good stuff. Makes me wonder what's in store when Sano finally starts playing this year.
  15. "and his career ERA on zero days rest is 5.18, so there was plenty of reason for anxiety." I thought Hildy was the call for the ninth today but i guess that wouldn't be orthodox. Who could have ever guessed Rogers would become the weapon he is? Another bonus is the resurgence of Hildy.
  16. Yes Duffy is still on the 40 man. They must see something. I'm afraid of what they'll do with Addison when he comes off the 10 day.
  17. I meant that the 40 man spot could be used for relief pitchers as needed throughout the season. Dejong is the first of what I hope will be many.
  18. You can't have everything. I think we need to get over it on Austin. That 40 man spot will come in handy hopefully. Plus Austin is pretty one dimensional while Cron appears to be a ballplayer.
