I made the trek downtown for Tuesday night's game. I was disappointed with the sparse crowd given the weather, but it is April and a school night. There were several families near me though, which is nice to see.
I liked the new scoreboards and I, too, hate that they moved the out of town scoreboard out of RF. The ad space is obnoxious to me. Same with the ribbon board on the dugout roof facing. It's too much, in my opinion.
The stinginess with the magnet schedules has been a crook in my side for quite a few years now. I don't get it. Way to ruin an easy, and cheap, tradition.
Game pace is fantastic, especially in person. I ended up getting into a prolonged text exchange and when I finally looked up, I had missed an entire inning. Not being one to get into prolonged text exchanges in the first place, I was surprised by how the game flew by. And I appreciate that as an early riser.
