    The tear down was when they traded for Meyer and May, and the complete rebuild followed. Sano and Buxton crapped the bed, they didn't die. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

    I believe every writer on the board except 1 or 2, predicted we would make the playoffs. They didn't suddenly become dumb. Every year in every sport, injuries derail teams. Polanco missed 80 games, and Buxton and Sano have thus far crapped the bed. I'm not throwing the baby out with the bath water.

    Enough hatred for TR, he's long gone. Falvey said the other day, they have already brought in guys from 15-16 other organizations.

    Lynn will be one of the better starters in the market. If we get a player that can help this season, it will be by trading Lynn. I would also like to see Ecobar extended for 3 seasons.

    When a team is under performing, I don't bother to look at the end of the bench, because the problem isn't there. Grossman will get beat out one these spring trainings.

    Like those shiny new things do you? Odorizzi will be back next season. Lynn is the tough call because we can't give him a qualifying offer and is too valuable an asset to simple allow to walk. I believe we will trade him at the deadline for back of the pen help.

    No the real thing. A solid 3 with a good track record, will be valuable at the deadline. For those who don't know, we will be buyers and sellers.

    Getting Mauer back is a good first step, but we still need Buxton and Polanco in the lineup every day to stay in the hunt. I would leave Sano in the minors until he becomes a world beater again.

    I'm guessing we will look for help for the back of our pen. Lynn will get us what we need.

    The Pohlads are absentee owners. I doubt they could answer the one question required to become a member here. By the way, I been following the game for over 50 years. Could you explain to me and the board, WTF country club rules are and why the doom and gloomers on the board, continue to accuse our favorite team of this practice?

    Neither one of those 2 have anything to do with our current woes. Those keeping score at home would do well to see if Polanco and Buxton can match their second halves last season.

    He was brought in to help us win games, just like last season where I believe he was our best pitcher after 6-15.

    Any way you could share specific examples with the board? If a rookie starting pitcher has a bad game, I don't see any need to overgeneralize.

    We could get solid returns for both Lynn and Odorizzi at the deadline.

    Still have time, but need to at least split the next 4 games. Easy to see how important Mauer is to our offense. Buxton has missed a ton of time, Sano has missed some, and it's hard to know how much we miss Polanco's bat. It's not over yet.

    Did you know last year at this time, we were the second youngest team in all of baseball based on weighted playing time? I read it on this very board. Don't worry about all these other teams. If you want to waste the time doing all the research, you'll find out it's not true. Just say no to myths!
