  1. Mike, I just read where the FO is bringing in Deena Davis and her cousin Crash to work with Pinto on his receiving skills.
  2. I sure hope we don't have votes for Meyer and Pinto.
  3. Remember you said that. It's always gratifying when another member of the board signs onto the rebuilding process.
  4. I agree, someone is being silly.
  5. Not unless he makes the All-Star team again.
  6. Glunn, since I have your attention, let me ask you a couple questions. Molly and I were contemporaries at the "U", which is a fancy way of saying we went to school there at the same time. I got into the games by showing my student I.D., but I'm guessing his mother, who had that beehive thing going on, had to pay the full 75 cents. My wife bought me a brand new Dell laptop for my birthday, and I'm showing 18 active posts, 120 profile views, but only 3 warning points. Do you think I should sent it back? Thanking you in advance for your cooperation, howieramone
  7. It's unforgivable they missed that 4 or 5 day window.
  8. By who? Many thought those were solid signings, but I don't recall visions of sugarplums dancing thru anyones head.
  9. I'm just hoping he can be all that he can be, so to speak.
  10. I'm far from a Hawkeye fan, but I think Coach McCaffery is another one of the great coaches in the B1G. Couldn't help but rooting for them as a sleeper the past 2 years. Fun team to watch! Go Gophers!
  11. That's why they call them placeholders. I believe our favorite team feels they have adequately addressed CF at this time, with Hicks potentially waiting in the wings, and the ever popular waiver claims also available. Most posters know the only guarantees in life are death and taxes, but Buxton as the Twins CF of the future is not all that far behind.
  12. Just because a plan didn't work, doesn't mean it was a bad plan or can't be repeated in some form. This season isn't going to be decided by who we have out in CF. Placeholders are fine until Buxton is ready.
  13. Which MLB-caliber players have they cut? Can you provide details on what half-rear end non-planning thing has to stop?
  14. There can't be more than a handful of Positive Petes still on the board. Don't you feel a need to preserve them for posterity? You know, kind of like the zoo.
  15. Don't remember exactly, but I think he's from San Francisco. I envision him as being tall, thin, bald and constipated. Hope that helps.
  16. Chief, you wouldn't be the first person to lie under oath. In spite of the excellent of Seth, Jeremy, Nick, Springer and many others, the hallmark of this site is mindless negativity.
  17. I've been gone for a bit. Is it okay to refer to the usual suspects as the Negative Nellies? I'm hoping not to hear from my favorite mod.
