  1. He's 25? I'm not worried yet. I'm not thrilled either. It is surprising, as he was viewed as a bat first guy. 500 at bats is nothing . Good thing they didn't give up on Torii that fast.
  2. They did win, right? They won the division two of the last three years, right? They have one of the best records in the league? It's very hard to tell....
  3. As I said in the other thread, because we need lots of the same threads here for some reason, accidents happen. Why is that so hard to accept? No one did anything wrong. I feel bad for Lewis. Good luck to him in his recovery.
  4. They changed the ball about four weeks ago.... At least according to all the data.
  5. Before Lewis got hurt, I'd have had my doubts he'd be a Twin next year. Now? I'm sure he will.
  6. What does that mean, they don't need him to reach AAA this year? If he's ready, he should be there. It isn't like AAA is filled with players right now. Also, isn't AA three levels?
  7. It's obviously disappointing to lose a game where your offense is that good. But I think this week shows the twins can play with these teams. They are still on pace to win 90 plus games. With the return of some better pitchers, I think fans can feel good about the future. It's clear they need bullpen help, though.
  8. Hated the signing. He made me think I was wrong.... But I wasn't, alas.
  9. He's something like 2nd in defensive runs saved. He's been so much better in the field than we were led to believe.
  10. Not that all of them are hurt at one time. What do people realistically expect? They traded for two starters, and signed two starters. They had Ryan and Ober. They had Winder and Smeltzer. How many starters do people think it's realistic to have, when they had almost zero two years ago? The pitching was utterly barren when they took over. Zero. Nada. Nil.
  11. Smoke and mirrors? How many starting pitchers do you think a team has at any one time? They are down four starting pitchers.
  12. Also, Rocco should be criticized for pitching Duffey there. That game was still winnable.
  13. I admit disappointment with Rocco over bringing in Duffey tonight. Big time disappointment. That game was still winnable.
  14. First, this Yankees team is literally historically great. The stats are unreal. Pitching and hitting. Second, I'm done with Duffey. He's not worth keeping around. He's a morale killer at this point, not to mention just bad at his job. I'm bummed. Always kind of liked him. Third. Meh. One game. On the plus side, they scored 4 runs against this staff, which is hard to do.
  15. Other than Leia, I doubt I care about any character on that show so far. She's great. It's amazing how bad they are at Star wars, given how good they were at MCU.
  16. That was my whole point, you can't be taken seriously if your opinion is they should sell at 50 cents on the dollar. Nothing more or less.
  17. He still hasn't played a full year in the minors. My take is that selling him for fifty cents on the dollar would be a firable offense.
