    I don't understand how not letting a college starter pitch more than three innings makes any sense at all. As for all those RPs..... Bring them up one at a time until one is good.

    Given you said they mostly fail past pick, what, 50 or so, is there a "best" player? How big a delta is there at their next three picks past number three, that you just keep passing on pitchers, even though you need 8 starters and 12 or so RPs every year?

    What do you think you're getting for Jeffers other than prospects? Why don't you want prospects that might help in the future? What prospects are redundant? I'm on @Vanimal46 team all the way. Trade Ryan, Jeffers, Martin, Wallner, Bell. If you can't get anything for Martin and Wallner stash them both in AAA for now. I'm ok if they trade Larnach, or keep him if they 100 percent will bring him back next year. I'm not trading Clemens or Gomez, though if someone makes a ridiculous offer for either.....

    I'd say anyone over 29 without a deal should be a free agent..... Anyone with five years in the majors, not sure how to count that exactly, is also a FA. Everyone on the forty man in the minors should get half the new, much, larger, minimum.
