  1. My opinion has nothing to do with "future all star" or not......But 24 year olds that strike out 100 times in A+ probably aren't even future regulars, not in a meaningful way. They can be, but how likely is it, really? I hope I'm wrong. I hope he's great. But I can't see how anyone can look at the age/stats and say he's more likely to contribute to a MLB team than Strotman or some others.
  2. He's also in AAA, not A+....though, yes, he 100% should be in the majors in terms of talent.
  3. Age isn't irrelevant......Wallner was much older than his competition, and if he progresses at a normal rate won't be a contributor until he's 27 or later. It 100% makes him less of a prospect than a 19 year old playing at that level. I'm with Seth, Walner is outside the top 20 right now.
  4. Reacher is entertaining me, even if it is simple tv. Every time someone says they'll be right back I think they'll be dead....
  5. I don't understand how Strotman, who has had real success at higher levels in the minors, is behind Enlow at this point. Or, even, number 20 at this point.
  6. The cavaco pick was awful when made. And Sabato is likely also. When you say many believe Enlow will be a mid rotation starter.... Who is that? Because every outside ranker would have him in their top 100 then.....
  7. Just finished Schitt's Creek.... Awesome show.
  8. Yes, and I loved the two about the writer......like, that could have almost been a movie. And, I liked the silly ones too! Just a great show.
  9. this looks either really good, or really bad......
  10. That Moonknight trailer is amazing.
  11. I like this better than spending most of your money on a 1B......other than that? Who knows?
  12. Mythic Quest was funny on many many levels. And, also, well acted and written. Really liked that show.
  13. Like I said, we clearly had a different experience watching that show.
  14. We must have been watching a different Witcher, because I loved it. Pretty sure multiple witchers died, so I don't get your point there at all, unless only main characters dying matters. Didn't he kill the child to kill the hope of the elves? That makes perfect sense to me. I was bored with monster of the week. These characters are so much more developed than those in Wheel of Time.
  15. The last episodes of Hawkeye and Wheel of Time were not great...... Lost in Space was great. Really liked that show.
  16. We are four episodes in, and it is really good so far.
  17. Added like 10 or 15 more reviews I found. Some I loved, some, not so much.
  18. Every short movie review I wrote on FB this year, plus a few more I wrote today: https://mikesixel.com/movie-reviews-movies-i-saw-in-2021/
  19. Speaking of musicals....Tick, Tick...Boom was quite good.
  20. So far, season 3 of Lost is Space does not disappoint! (I think we are 2 in)
  21. Hawkeye is great tv. Really deals with consequences.
  22. If anyone is watching both Foundation and Wheel of Time.....thoughts on the characters? My wife and I could not care less about any of them on Foundation, but even the death of a side character in Wheel hits us. The shows couldn't be more different that way.
  23. We've certainly seen that the Twins can't sign new 1 year deals every year and build a staff (see last year and likely this coming year).....so I'm not sure how 1 year deals over and over to fill multiple slots is a good/sustainable idea (maybe they weren't trying to win last year?).
  24. I don't know.....I'd like to keep Garver, but he's very valuable I'd think (esp when the DH is universal). He'd bring back a great prospect, or two good ones. I'd 100% trade Arraez if he brought back a guy you believed in. I'd consider Polanco, IF and only IF you keep Arraez or believe in Martin or Lewis at 2B, but I'd have to be blown away. If Sano brought back a good prospect or two, I'd consider it. But, I really think he's going to come out hot this year and be worth every penny...that said, next year looks lost, and they have some hitters coming up that can't field, and Larnach is a DH imo......so, maybe? I'd hate to deal him, I'm a believer, and I don't know if you can get what I'd want. No way I deal Jeffers at this point. He's a legit starting catcher who isn't old. I don't know if you can get enough for Kepler to make it worth doing. BTW, there were almost no trades, so their lack of action there is not a surprise......and it may not be possible to make trades if the LOCKOUT lasts close to the season.
  25. Wouldn't it be better to sign players, than trade good or great prospects for them? For a team that insists that building with prospects is the best way to win? There aren't good starters left (Rondon, I guess). That's it, right? I think this is a clear sign they have no intention to compete this coming year.
