  1. Watched my only NBA game Saturday.......was in a brewery.....imagine my surprise when a MN team won a playoff game, and it was the Wolves!
  2. What the heck are they doing with Martin? Is he a SS, LF? Now second? I clearly have no idea what the plan is.
  3. At some point you have to start a rookie......and trust your process. I love how people have such certainty over a guy that has less than a few hundred ABs in the majors (not that you are wrong or right, got no idea).
  4. If I had a child that needed that much care, and I had that much money, I know where I'd be.......
  5. Certainly possible. I thought Sano would be good to start the year this year......or AK would be there and Celestino/Larnach would be in LF....shows what I know.
  6. I wasn't only talking OF, but I agree..... Really, the FO added four starting pitchers, a superstar SS, replaced their 3B with a good (not great) one, replaced a good defensive catcher who couldn't hit with who knows what (but used to be good), signed Buxton. Other than RP, what wasn't handled, which was my question. They have OFers in the minors, they have prospect SP if the vets fail. I don't love all the decisions, but some posters seem to think they did nothing to make the team better.....
  7. They have Larnach, Martin, Lewis, Miranda and maybe 1-2 others in the minors. They hoped, I'm sure, Larnach would make the roster...... I agree, Rodriguez was called up, and he or Jax will go down for an OFer. What issues would you want addressed (other than RP)?
  8. You gave up on a highly rated show before finishing 1 episode? I'm trying hard not to judge you As for your Lasso opinion, I get it, but strongly disagree.
  9. So do I, and I have no idea why they rested him today......
  10. Who would you start at SS when CC needs a day off? Because he isn't playing 162 games. Who would you start in CF when Buxton needs a day off, on a day when your starting LF was put on the injured list that morning? Who would you start at catcher when Jeffers needs a day off?
  11. Which is why I said I'd have left him in if he wanted.
  12. Of course, an actual MLB pitcher tweeted out this had nothing to do with modern baseball, that Kershaw wasn't ready for this given the short spring training.
  13. To be clear, if he wanted to stay in, I'd have left him in.
  14. From his catcher today: Mike DiGiovanna @MikeDiGiovanna #Dodgers C Austin Barnes on Clayton Kershaw being pulled from PG: "Later in the season, when he's a little more built up, I think he goes out there, but I think that's the right call, taking him out there. It was the right move, for sure. I think he was getting a little tired."
  15. The words of an actual MLB pitcher: Brandon McCarthy @BMcCarthy32 There was barely a spring training. Nobody's fully built up. Starters were barely ready to start a real season. This isn't some new-age thing or whatever strawman you want to rail against. It sucks.
  16. Because that's what plans are, in advance. And, who said anything about a season? As for your anti math and science and knowledge stance, we get it.
  17. Such a good show.
  18. Again....probably not Baldelli's decision alone.....and they are planning for the long term. 100% Winder was always planned to piggyback Archer in game one. After 4 innings.
  19. Really, I don't think people are thinking about the PLAN for Winder at all, as if it was random he pitched after Archer.......
  20. Just a hunch.... A: Not Baldelli's decision. B: It was always the plan to piggyback him with Archer. IMO, that is highly likely and why he didn't pitch against Seattle.
  21. I'm not at my computer, so it could be 35.... I'll check and update this. For batters, it is the 40FV. For pitchers, it is on the fence between 40 and 45.....so, 40+.
