    I'm ok with that, but I'd rather Larnach was DH or RF and LF and DH (can he play first?). Martin would be a plus defender in LF, and IMO an on base machine. I'm also ok if they just move him to AAA (where the variance in pitching quality is lower) for now.

    Those fangraphs grades are from last year. They haven't updated the Padres list yet this year....we'll see if their thought have changed at all. A super young hard throwing pitcher isn't a terrible lottery ticket....

    While commenting about how dumb everyone was in the last episode of season 2 of Discovery last night, my wife said I was more Vulcan than every character on the show. My son messaged me that he warned me the season ending episodes were the weakest.....

    Starters averaged 5.1 innings across MLB last year..... And, I'd likely piggyback two starters, not four.

    I said this last year, and I'll say it again. Rocco can only play the players he's given. And, they are less than 2 full weeks into the season. Should he really have given up on Duffey and not used him last night? What, exactly, would you have done other than that? I too am surprised by the lack of piggybacking, but Archer's injury may have played a part in that.....Also, and I'll say this again, I'm 100% sure they have a plan for using the "starters" for the first month, and it isn't just Rocco making that plan.

    When the rosters go down in size, Jax and Stashak are going down for sure. I don't believe either is a MLB RP, so I'd be good trying someone else.

    I gave up on Space Force after two episodes. It was too real for me and depressed me.

    That Mythic Quest episode is one of the best tv episodes in history, imo. It was truly great acting and writing.

    It isn't like Rogers would be coming in in the 7th.......so yesterday would be no different. I understood the Rogers trade, and the Twins already have lost starts to injury..... I don't know what I'd do at this point. I would consider moving someone up from the minors, even converting one of their minor league potential starters to RP (no idea who, I'd have to give that more thought). Duffey looks lost right now, but it is tiny sample size.....but man, this does remind me of last year. Once they cut bait on their failed closer, their record was decent....

    Isn't Celestino the starting LFer when Buxton is back? He should be, unless Larnach tears the cover off the ball. In any event, I'd still have him in the majors as the 4th OFer. He can replace Larnach on D late in a game, pinch run, etc.
