  1. He was at 101, when 100 is the magic number, so i yeah I get it, but I might have extended Lopez to 110-115 today too, or through Trout and see where you’re at after Trout
  2. To clarify who Stewart is, you are suggesting a Dave Stewart comeback, right?
  3. did i mention how pablo lopez should of stayed in the game
  4. The bones have disintegrated into ash. You know that old Kansas song, right?
  5. I realize the pitch count, but I would have let Lopez pitch through the top of the order (Trout and Ohtani) or ideally, complete the inning before that.
  6. Lopez back out for the 7th Moral victory to get Ohtani out of the game before the 7th
  7. The Twins had some ball/strike calls go in their favor in April. All of that and more has been erased by the atrocious ball/strike calling on this road trip.
  8. Solid game, which I have been following in and out. What a treat to see a guy like Ohtani in our time. I am declaring the road trip a success (lower case ‘s’ success). Of course, a win today and 3-3 record will look a lot better than 2-4.
  9. You don’t know who somebody’s mom is? 🤣
  10. It was a line drive pulled into the right field corner. One of the big disservices to fans is that saying infield hits or hits ‘off the end of the bat’ (Dick’s favorite last night) are somehow cheap or unlucky hits when the opposition gets them, but when the Twins get them, it’s “a good piece of hitting” or some such. sure, Jax had some bad luck early, but it shouldn’t have disguised the fact that he was not a top bullpen piece to begin with.
  11. I don’t think spending constraints is the reason for the Twins bullpen woes. The Twins did pay Carlos Correa by about 25% more than the Mets offered.
  12. “Where is Royce Lewis going to play when something something
  13. By the same token, Miranda would have had more trade value last offseason. Miranda was hitting so well that no one ventured to suggest he was a good trade piece, however.
  14. Interesting. Do you have a link or remember how you heard that comment?
  15. They will run out of good players if they continue trading controllable talent for short term pitching (Ryan is an exception to the other four). They do have a good rotation this year, but it is unsustainable, they will literally run out of players if they try to maintain a good rotation this way.
