    I assume Anthony Edwards has massive input on these moves? That’s the nature of this sport. We are coming in to Years 7 & 8 when its the time these franchise guys start winning rings.

    If you think now is the time to trade Jeffers, then last year’s deadline would have been an even better time to trade him. I’m on the record of wanting to extend Jeffers and I’m not moving off that just because Yankees. But if the Twins can wait and see if a team offers up a true blue chip prospect. If so, maybe trade him I guess. Another ‘Top 100’ doesn’t really do anything for me. Who are the can’t miss catchers coming up in the system?

    My favorite moderating action was always deleting, like, 6 or 7 consecutive identical posts of someone who was mashing the Submit button because they did not instantly see their original post show up right away to enlighten us all. not site's fault, or the poster's fault, by the way.. just a glitch we are all trying to navigate (kind of like the years 2025-2026 *cough*)

    The Twins made their decision on Royce Lewis in January of 2023 and should have started exploring trades right then and there. Even this offseason you might have gotten back a replacement level flyer for him. I hope they trade him, for his own sake, because I like him and want to see him succeed one more time before the clock runs out.

    It was said Correa was uninsurable. It’s also crazy that Jim Pohlad went over his own GM’s head and negotiated this trade with the Houston owner.

    Connor Phillips, a young relief pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds, didn’t have his sharpest stuff on Saturday, you could say. Phillips came in to pitch for the Reds in the second inning of Pittsburgh’s 17-7 win over Cincinnati (insert Steelers-Bengals joke) and walked all four batters he faced before being pulled. But the story gets worse. He had come in to relieve the starting pitcher who had walked the first three batters of the inning. So yep, Pittsburgh drew seven consecutive base on balls. 🙃 A third pitcher was brought in, and on the 42nd pitch of the inning, a ball was finally put in play— an RBI groundout. All told, 5 runs on 0 hits for the Pirates in that inning.

    Arguably I count 5 mental and physical errors on that hot shot to third in the 10th: 3B not fielding it SS not picking it up (understandable with LF charging in, the least error-like play on the play) LF not picking it up LF with an awful throw 3B cut off and conceding run, not pivoting to throw home Oh well
