  1. Wendelstedt tried to sneak the Twins one last gift call, but Reds challenged
  2. that's my thought. No expectations, nothing really to "lose" this year (exchanging butts in seats now for potential butts in seats later)
  3. (let me twist your words to make a joke) All of the offense deserves some of the blame. like, 90% of the offense deserves 50% of the blame? 🙂
  4. of course, that last thing we just saw would not have happened either
  5. just going by MLB.com... are we in Eric Gregg territory today?
  6. With Ober's start today, every Twins starter has now trotted out to the mound to pitch into the 7th this year already. I don't know what differences there are between 2025 and 2026, but I think in previous season this would not happen.
  7. i'm on mlb.clom i'm assuming a double steal play that did not work. would have liked to see Larnach hit.
  8. People joke about "warning track power"... But what about "just-shy of the warning track power"?
  9. We can have fun with this. However, do not crumple up your original scouting report based on 2 starts. (or even 10 starts - most pitchers who reach this level are capable of going on a nice heater for a couple of months)
  10. Wait, what was this app called AshburyTwinsDaily SportsBook that I just installed? That’s not yours? and I just loaded 3k onto to bet the Twins money line today?
  11. Agree. The best way to hit the ball hard consistently over the course of a season is to see the pitch and keep your head in and put a good swing on it.
  12. lol that's just Tom Pohlad running the team instead of Joe
  13. I kid you not, but right before that balk, Gladden (aka GOAT) mentioned that Gray was capable of committing a balk.
  14. I warmed up quickly to the ABS system. The speed of the call is great. And you can say that the technology, if not 100% accurate, is consistent. 🙂 I am still bothered by the other challenge system. It was sold as a system that would reverse egregious calls, that would set wrongs right, like the Armando Galarraga perfect game that was spoiled. That's not how that challenge system is used, however, and based on how it has been adopted would still not ensure that another Galarraga situation is prevented (say, if Detroit had used and lost its challenges in that game before the 9th inning)
