    Opening day, batting 8th, non-premium position, pinch hit for late. Royce is obviously not good right now and the Twins obviously do not value him. Just trade him. Jesus.

    Systemic failures that have been hashed, rehashed, and hashed over again. Sounds like Lee and Lewis haven’t changed much over the last 12-24 months either. Lewis had the ‘It’ factor at one point. Lee may turn out ok but is he still shaped like a Lego guy? I don’t know. I do think coaching makes a difference in subtle ways. Would the Twins be any worse for wear if they just switched Lewis and Lee around at SS and 3B tomorrow? /nevertoolate

    Not sure, haven't been following until now, but yeah I am still thinking there were systemic issues the past nine years with how Lewis and so many other guys underperformed.

    I hear you, but I truly think the middle class hates this **** as much as you think they should. We in the middle class have been so beaten down, and it’s just a few loudmouths or sellouts who fill the space by falsely giving the impression that stuff like this is inevitable or that they are just responding to demand. The downside is that integrity of the game is at stake, but the upside is hey, a 14-yr-old kid can gamble away his family’s savings and hoover money back to the wealthy. Win-win,right? In my mind, it really is as simple and stupid as people like Manfred seeing an opportunity to enrich himself and his patrons at the expense of rubes like us. No ethics, no self reflection whatsoever. White collar smash-n-grab, nothing more. For now I will set aside my critique of the two party / one party political system in this country that enables this. Happy Friday! 🙂

    Dumb question but is it Murray as QB1 or is it a so-called competition? (assuming McCarthy doesn’t hurt himself doing something before camp) Thats a lot of quarterback whispering. I don’t know how much longer O’Connell can do this.
