    There is nobody I would rather have then Duran. There is nobody better. A couple are close, Josh Hader or Felix Bautista maybe even Chapman. But I would still take Duran over all of them. He brings the fire and emotion.

    I know strikeouts aren't fun, but My God Man, did you see the Grandslam Matt Wallner hit?!?! Also is it just me or does Edouard Julien strikeout once and walk twice in his first 3 at bats every game?

    The roster isn't bad except: The unfortunate Buxton debacle of the past 2 yrs. Don't know what else to call it The bullpen could have been much better. If the bullpen hasn't been ignored the last off-season, the twins are pry an easy second playoff seed. Joey Gallo

    All the scenarios are interesting, and it is a long shotz but stranger things have happened. I think they should get their starting rotation lined up first, for the playoffs. I don't think they should be running spring training lineups out (like today) until it really is impossible, not just improbable

    I would rather Ryan start game 3 with Kenta and Ober in the bullpen at the expense of Paddock. I doubt Buxton plays in the 3 game series, I would go with Larnoch over both him and Gallo I am hoping that the Twins get the second seed. They are only 3.5 games back and I really hope that the lineups the rest of the game don't resemble spring training game lineups or get away day lineups

    Paddock was also. I think it was simply the Twins wanted Buxton there just in case they clinched. But I see Gordon played for the saints last night. And I didn't see Stewart or Gallo in the celebration

    The Astros are the last team I want to face in the playoffs on the AL side of things. This team may not be as good as the teams in the past but they are a very good team and have been there before, and WON. I think anybody who writes the Astros off does so at their own peril. They will be fired up and know what it takes to win, which makes them much more dangerous then a team that hasn't been there and is just hoping their best is enough to win.

    I think it is really important we get Brock Stewart back and healthy and sharp for our bullpen. With him, Varland, Theilbar, Duran Jax Pagan and Kenta I like that bullpen.

    Arraez was a fan favorite for a reason. I think the vast majority of fans were sad to see him go, I was. But if we still had him, where are Polanco and Julien and Kirilloff and Lewis getting their at bats, especially with Buxton eating up the Lions share of DH B4 he went on the DL. I think the anger on the trade was overstated by to create a storyline. I believe that a lot of people would have wished to have kept Arraez, but it made more sense to trade him so they could shore up a position of weakness from one they had an abundance from. I think this is one of the rare trades that benefitted both teams and the players involved.

    Sawyer Gipson-Long started for the Tigers today. Went 5 innings, gave up 2ER struck out 5 didn't walk anybody. Got the win. It was his major league debut. Good for that young man.

    Don't expect them to hang 20 on Cleveland 2 nights in a row. Would settle for only 15

    I don't think they claim a hitter to replace Ludlow. Buxton coming back will replace Ludlow. AK is the 27th man and Castro is the 28th for September. That being said, they need to claim both Lopez and Moore. Either is better then Floro. If they get both, unfortunately, Kody F is pry sent back to AAA. I wouldn't have a problem if they DFA Gallo and brought up Martin but I doubt they do that. I hope they don't pick anybody else up.

    I'm not saying it's advisable, but they could not run with 13 pitchers and add Gordon, if it came to that in Sept. Look how long Sands was on the roster with no usage at all. Also in the playoffs I doubt they carry 13 pitchers, especially for the first round.

    I wonder if the front office learned anything by not addressing the bullpen the past two years. Wouldn't it be something if they went after Josh Hader in free agency? Can you imagine him and Jax and Duran and a possibly healthy Stewart in the back end of the bullpen. Wow.

    That half inning was terrible by the ump. He took the bat out of Gallos hand and out of Correas, calling 2 balls strikes on both, not to mention Wallner call

    Not because of the result but more because of the close game and extra innings possible maybe have been better to leave Ober in, and save the bullpen for an Xtra inning. Not to mention Ober was really dialed in
