  1. I think that they will bring in a starter via trade and maybe a bullpen piecealos and push Varland to the pen. I also think that Jorge Polanco will get traded. We will see these articles are always fun.
  2. I would like to see him with the big club sooner rather than later. It would be interesting to see what him and Julien could do batting at the top of the lineup or 9,1.
  3. I grew up listening to the Twins on the radio, (thanks dad) and nobody will ever hold a candle to Herb Carneal or John Gordon. Those guys were the best!
  4. I like the idea but I seriously doubt the Twins passed on 25mil/yr for Gray and 12/mil a yr on Kenta so they could spend 20mil a yr plus on another pitcher
  5. I would love Varland in the bullpen. If they could trade for a multi yr starter and sign one of Montas or Severino with Festa and woods Richardson I like that a lot
  6. I don't mind any of them, I would like number 2 a lot better if there was away around trading Wallner or Julien to achieve it
  7. I would do any of them except the last one. And I would prefer not to give up Festa. I think I like the Angels trade the best, it only adds 1.5 million, and it may give Helman a shot at the bigs. That being said, if the Mets would trade Alonzo for that, that trade needs to be done in a heartbeat.
  8. I would do the Seattle trade. I don't know if they would Connor P has health issues and Rodriguez has swing and miss issues. Wallner and Eddie J are two of my favorites on the Twins team. I would be super disappointed to see either of those go, no matter who we got back.
  9. Trevor L might just be one of those guys who needs to know coming into spring training he is the guy. I think if he came in and had a full year with no DL and wasn't fighting for a roster spot, maybe he might relax a bit and we could see some of those AAA numbers at the top level.
  10. Easily a hard pass on all three of those players. I seriously doubt the Twins could call someone up who would do worse than any of those.
  11. I would actually like to see them add Matt Moore or R Lopez. And sign Kenta M and push Varland to the pen. But they didn't spend on the pen last year when they had money, I can't imagine them doing it this year when they dont
  12. I think they resign Kenta M and then take a chance on someone like Frankie Montas. If they bring in two regular starters, it pry means Varland is in the pen.
  13. Alcala stays, the other two go. Maybe Luplow and Gordon can find major league deals with other clubs, they deserve the right to find out. If not, the Twins could possibly re-sign them on minor league deals .
  14. I know there were more impactful home runs but that Grandslam of Wallner gives me chills. I could watch that all day long.
  15. I have a different order also De Leon Luplow Ortega Stevenson Gordon Balazavic Henriquez Moran Alcala Altho I doubt the move more than 5 or 6.
  16. I think Julien is the way to go. Let him face lefties also, maybe pinch hit for him late in the game. Miranda or Severino can be the short side platoon. Then go out and sign one of Hader or Snell and Montas on a pillow contract
  17. Good Grief, those are some pretty dismal numbers to start. Hopefully they can pick it up. I wonder if our hitters faced our pitchers which would fair better?😜
  18. I think that Kenta may be resigned b4 Gray. I truly don't think he will be back, and signed Kenta allows 5 solid options in the rotation with the possibility of Varland in the pen.
  19. It would be cool if both Texas and the Twins won and we had homefield for the ALCS.
  20. If Lewis can't play third the next series I think you will see Farmer play there and in the big moment Polonco pinch hits
  21. Lewis....just wow. Has there ever been anyone who just seems made for the biggest moments on the biggest stage? Hell of a play by Correa. It looked like it was pure instinct and then his brain caught up with his body. The whole game was just awesome
  22. I know Wallner hit the double but I would love to see him really tag one in Denver. I wonder if he gets over 500 ft. That's why I'm watching tonight
  23. In the 3 game series if they carry 14 players and 12 pitchers I think Ober is left off and it will be either Buxton or Stevenson as the 14th player. If the go 15 position players the Buxton and Stevenson are both on the roster and the last pitcher is going to be Funderburk or paddock. I think in the series after the 3 game series and every one after that it's 13 and 13 which means Ober, Paddock and Funderburk all make the roster and, I think, Buxton and Stevenson get left off. Provided of course, Polanco, Correa and Lewis are all healthy enough to play. It will be interesting to see who makes the cut. If any of Luplow, Gallo, Stevenson or Buxton make the cut after the 3 game series if we advance, it pry means we went with just 12 pitchers meaning one of Paddock or Funderburk doesn't make the cut, or one of Lewis, Correa or Polonco are too hurt to play or a new injury happened to a position player
  24. I think Lewis is on the playoff roster to start but doesn't play unless it's an elimination game. Or the bases are loaded late in Game 1😜. If they can win two games without him, I think they would rather do that and give him the extra few days off before RD 2 of the playoffs
