  1. Smelling the rbis!
  2. That seems rather counterintuitive to me. Good thing I’m not a doctor!
  3. Agreed on the need to get Correa the couple games warmup. Predicting he won’t get it.
  4. I saw a rumor on a roto site that Correa is being put on the IL, but I haven’t seen the transaction. is he on the IL? Edit: nevermind, it’s official. C4 to IL, Larnach up https://www.mlb.com/twins/roster/transactions 10 days puts him out through Sept. maybe he gets activated 10/1 for the last game of season. I voted no, he doesn’t come back until post season
  5. Agreed with the camp that believes Ober starts game 1 of the DS if the WC goes 3 games. If you gotta have a mop up man (optimistic because we blew the doors off the rangers), DK would be preference, but I really hope the FO isn’t planning for that. This team hasn’t won a post season game in 20 years? Push in your chips
  6. I got Sheboygan on my mind… errrr… shirt
  7. Bremer won’t make the playoff roster.
  8. And they already ponied up for naming rights of the field
  9. My narrative on the season needs to catch up. I see Correa batting 5th and think “Oh No! Correa’s terrible! Why won’t Rocco bat him 9th?”. looking at season stats Correa is 16th in wOBA But since Sept 1, he’s 7th
  10. Was not aware of speed differences. Was thinking more of “I’d rather minor leaguers learn new positions in the minor leagues than Major leaguers in the majors or minors”. with new and improved information, I’d leave Royce and Correa, have Martin and Celestino duke it out w/MAT in the spring over CF.
  11. Correa is on a downward trend at SS too. Time to flip him and Lewis? I’m not in a big hurry to move Lewis to CF. He hit so well in the infield this year. I’d have Martin and Lee both work on CF in the offseason, but probably plan on bringing back MAT and Castro as Buxton insurance
  12. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/savant-player/bailey-ober-641927?stats=statcast-r-pitching-mlb his average is 91
  13. https://www.twinkietown.com/2013/1/4/3833034/an-oral-history-of-nick-punto-sliding-headfirst-into-first-base GET MONEY!
  14. Paddack began his rehab 9/5. 21 days is Sept 26. Gordon began his rehab 9/14(?) so his 21 day rehab would end 10/5 but the regular season ends 10/1. Alcala began his rehab 9/9, so his 21 days are up 10/1 Looks like Stewart is scheduled to return 9/21 but isn’t having a traditional rehab assignment. https://www.mlb.com/twins/news/twins-injuries-and-roster-moves my guess is Stewart fills the 40th spot on the roster-Headrick optioned, Paddack takes Floro’s spot (DFA) on the 40/26, Alcala and Gordon don’t get activated for the post season my last guess is Buxton has another setback
  15. was he on the 40 man Aug 31?
  16. Who’s Valdez? Do you mean Vazquez?
  17. What are the realistic odds he becomes the 130wRC+ hitter this post season? Season to date he has not been one of the 13 best hitters on the team.
