  1. I think the twins would have done well to have their own center field prospect instead of Margot this year. Of course we would have missed the o for 30 pitch hit so inspiring.
  2. The comments have warned me out. I'm afraid the only thing to say is that we are the twins we are doing what the twins do. I have read about our front office, our manager, and our owner since 1961. Different names same stories.
  3. One more evening and everyone in the bullpen could have been in the game together. Glad we won, but that's not good.
  4. And Cleveland continues to dink and dunk and we write about how poorly hit their balls are and yet they are singles and they drive in runs and they get on base. You can have your advanced metrics and all the hard hit balls you want. Just get on base.
  5. I read this hoping for a laugh and now I'm sadder than I was to begin with.
  6. I feel bad that the saints season is coming to an end before the twin season. Reading the minor league reports is a break from the heartache of the twins? Frustrating. Streak.
  7. Once again I read the summary and hear about the speed of the hitball. Fortunately, Cleveland doesn't care how hard they hit the ball. They just want singles and runs. And we bring in Irvin and Theilbar in the most crucial game so far this season and expect to win. Come on. Sans was a good call, but Jax and Duran were the obvious players that should have stepped up for us.
  8. We need to finish the season. Two good pitchers can carry you a long ways in the playoffs, but they only pitch 40% of the games during the regular season. We need more.
  9. You had me nodding my head correctly until you lowered yourself to say something political in a baseball blog.
  10. It's a mystery. Who knows what we'll get. Hope it's a I want to add good but who knows.
  11. I can accept the loss. It's just a fact. But the WPA putting Jax and Lopez as the worst is ridiculous. I never like WPA and this is a good example of why.
  12. I really feel like it has to be Varland. He has really looked terrible the last two times out
  13. I really don't see it as a big mystery. The other leagues have stopped and this way they get one more opportunity to pitch. Where they are next year is the big question
  14. I am only impressed with players who play the whole season. I don't need half-season Stars.
  15. Sorry but not doing well in non save Situations is not something to ignore. He has been ok overall but fair below expectations.
  16. The way these trades went well is if we had extended Gray. Giving up Steer was a big loss.
  17. I think Alcala is the big story. All season we've been hoping he would expand the quality relief corps, but over and over he has failed. Duran s definitely not what he used to be. For a team that relies so much on his bullpen these are bad issues.
  18. I asked the people in Lisbon what they thought of the twins and they looked around and couldn't see any. I guess our twins are not on their mind, but I am certainly glad to see Buxton and Correa back in the lineup. I'm expecting to hear more news as I travel around Europe so keep this happening. Although I do agree the bullpen is another issue and I just hope that somebody can step up there
  19. Glad to see someone taking the high route - I am leaving town and country for a while, it is up to all of you to cheer them on. I will check in as much as I can, but ready for some changes.
  20. I have read all the comments. There is nothing left to say. Good or bad, this is a very disappointing time for the team. Having a three game lead for the last WC is fine, but what does it truly mean? The Twins play like they don't care and attendance says the fans don't either.
