    In this age of overuse, it is really dangerous to trade successful RP like Duran who we know and is still on a positive projection. We know how they were used. With 3 -4 RP used every game the damage to arms and shoulders in inevitable. In this WS I watched Aaron Ashby control the games, but wonder how his body will react to such use next year. It is an argument for developing your own, but when you do not have the talent to develop top RPs then you have to take a risk and sign someone with a good track record. Where are the analytics on usage, age, durability?

    You misinterpret the Lopez posts. He took up a large percentage of the Twins budget and we got nothing from it. That does not mean that we would not have liked to have him in the rotation all year. He has been in 14 games in two years for $40+ million on a team that will not spend.

    Give me good players - players with speed, bat to ball contact and good gloves - an out is an out no matter what analytics says.

    For a team with our record over the last three seasons it should not be hard to clear a lot of room on the 40 -man. What is important is adding and changing the formula going forward.

    So many good choices I have to go a different direction. We signed Lopez to be an Ace, we gave him a big contract (in Twins terms) and never got to see him on the mound. From a dollar standpoint he was least valuable.

    KILLEBREW, OLIVA - where do they get listed? Is Puckett a Supernova?

    Who do we have that? Can energize the team. Watching the playoffs I see Jose Ramirez willing his team to win and it's contagious. On the other side I see Milwaukee with Contreras and Bauer refusing to lose and pushing the rest of the team. I suppose people will think that's Buxton but as good as he can be. He can't drive the bus.

    The world series has not begun and we are worrying about the 2028 rotation? What will the articles be in December, January and February? How about something current like what teams can learn from Tampa, Cleveland, Milwaukee. Will there be a sea change? Lewis and Wallner are victims of the three true outcomes fad with emphasis on the strike out part of the equation. Will these playoffs start a new trend?

    I really like Keaschall and I think he will be okay in the field if left at one position. I too would have had Bradley first, but on a team that underperformed all over the diamond, Keaschall was definetly the most consistent and potentiall most importand bat. The difficulty in finding an MVP when a team has a losing record is defining what is valuable.

    I have no idea - often it is a team rather than one man who makes the difference, the real question is leadership - is Zoll a leader? Can he create the team in the FO to support the team on the field? There are so many issues with the construction of this team that it presents a lot of challenges in judging him. As far as extensions I am conservative - after year one a lot fans wanted Lewis extended, now we want him gone. It is a challenging decision. With the young players I think we have the basic lineup ready but C/1B/DH are the holes. The rotation has to shift. Last years of Lopez and Ryan - I say trade them. Get more arms and move forward.

    #2 faded as usual, #3 looked like he was reverting backwards at the end of the season, #4 was a pleasant surprise and #5 shows potential. Not overwhelming. Taj had no competition. Hoffman might have made it high on the list if he was here longer, although that did not keep Kremer off.

    If we want to see improvement, we make enough changes that Caratini is not the starting C and Kreidler is not on the roster. I would love to see our current roster set side by side with the roster that we have in 2027 and see how much Tom Pohlad has committed to a better ending.

    There are so many choices - Gil, Henriks, even Mahle - I like the potential of some of our young pitchers but wonder why we should have faith that they will maximize their potential?

    I am always amazed at how new draft choices, new acquisitions get so much hype and overrated without waiting to see how they actually perform.

    Trevor Megill, Duran, Varland, Jax, Headrick, Cano, Hoffman - not a bad BP in an age when BP is more important than a full rotation.

    I read these comments and I think you are underselling him. Give him a chance.
