    This is what happens when the FO who are supposed to be the end all be all of pitching.They traded away pitching to bring in dead arm pitchers one after another.Now they get what they sew.They can only hope that the big 3 stay healthy and until Varland or SWR can become a #5 go BP game.

    Varland is a batting practice pitcher at best.He is on the mound as a thrower not a pitcher.He seems to think the faster he releases his pitches the better.The team is so bad at this time they can't afford to just give games away.It is time to send him to St Paul and get SWR his opportunity.And people seem to forget Paddock has yet to show that he is a SP for this team.The next 2 weeks are the season for this team,they are already back 8 games in the division.

    Santana and Margot need to DFA.Santana has 250 ft fly ball power and Margot is a shaky fielder.Was very surprised Buxton didn't stand at home admiring has line drive to left in the 2nd.Maybe someone had a talk with him.Other than that they finally played a game of baseball.

    A real manager would have told Buxton to take a seat for not running.The way the ball came off the wall he may of gotten a inside the park HR.

    This is not a team,80 percent of the homerun they have are solo.You only have to look at Julien all solo and triple that amount in SO.How many times have they started the inning with a double and was left there because of 2 SO and a pop-up.The organization is playing to the new generation of fans,all about the homerun.Its all baseballs problem.With players using PEDS in the 90s and then juicing the baseball.They needed to put the game clock on the pitcher and hitters years ago,but now they are stuck with a all or nothing game.

    This team made a pitcher that hasn't pitched a game in the majors in 7 years look like a Cy Young award winner.And some of you say don't worry its early.

    After they lose the next 7,maybe people will know for sure this season is over.I don't know about you but I am tired of watching pitches thrown down the middle of the zone.I know yes now and again one will leak over.Varland needed to go with Wallner to St Paul and SWR should of been given the chance to stay for another start.Sometime a really big shakeup is needed.They can't let Chicago sweep or even take 2.

    Varland is a batting practice pitcher,he has no control of his Cutter.If he throws 10 Cutters 7 are on a tee.Need to send him with Wallner to St Paul.There he can work on location and Wallner can work on putting the bat on the ball.This is the Major Leagues,produce or work on things at AAA.With the way this team is playing they will be out of it by May 1st.Even Lopez is having a blow up inning in every outing.

    This one is on the manager,Theibar should not have been brought into the game.He needed to get settled before pitching in this game.And can someone tell me why Wallner is still not back in St.Paul.The only ball he hit was a 61 mph cookie in the middle of the zone.This is starting to look like a long season already,and it is April.

    Down 6-0 and strike out 15 times,let's hit 3 solo homeruns.It's time for a new plan.

    Any starter beyond Lopez is a question mark.Both Ryan and Ober had ups and downs all last season.And Paddock is a great unknown when it comes to a SP.The FO again has shown a inability to address SP.As of today this staff is going to put a strain on the BP.You need your SP to give you 5+ game after game,and I don't see it with this staff.

    I love how people say it was time for Polanco to go because of injuries.What about the CFer that has been injured for 8+ years.Polanco was never going to bring a SP with a upside.I know this is going to sound like no way,but maybe the FO should have a talk with Trevor Bauer.And yes he has some very bad baggage.He also a bit of bulldog much like Sonny Gray.And FO could sign him to a contract with a lot of incentives for a year to prove himself.

    Here we go again talking about the Buxton problem,can he or can't he play.I put this situation on the FO.All off season everyone has talked about trading Kepler,and now move him to CF.If Buxton isn't in CF the first game of ST its time to move on.The wait and see on Buxton should be over.

    If he is not in CF game 1 of ST its time to cut bait.Can't wait for him to be healthy again for another year.His body isn't built to play baseball.It will be time for the FO to draw up retirement plans for him.They can make him a minor league coach,so at least the money he's owed they get something in return.

    Same problem different year!!Can Buxton play or not.Just like last year no one knows if he will be ready to play the 1st game of ST.I think it is long past time to move on if he isn't ready.Everyone knows they need pitching and Polanco will not get them a SP pitcher they need.May get a BP arm at best.Looking at the Tigers and the Royals the Twins will need to be better this year than last.

    Twins record against the Tigers in 23 was 5-8 with the Tigers weak SP.They will win the Central if they stay healthy with the SP.

    Everyone is saying trade Polanco and Julien can't play 2nd.Do they really think Farmer is the answer at 2nd.And yes they may have help in St Paul,but that is not a given.As far as all the other big name players waiting on Ohtani to sign the Twins will not be signing any of them.

    Ohtani this Ohtani that,there are what 25 teams who are not looking to sign him.Why are they waiting to see where he is going.He is a good DH who can't pitch next year.The Twins have holes at 1st,2nd and center.They also are in need of a SP as well as BP help.Maybe the FO are looking for the next Bundy.What happens if Buxton can't cover center.The idea of waiting until March every year is getting old.

    This has become a Laeral and Hardy situation and almost laughable.Who's in left,who's in center and now who's in right.If Wallner could play right Kepler would of been traded in July.The FO hasn't found a LF for years now and Buxton can't play CF,do they really want to be looking for a RF too.If Buxton can't play CF opening day of Sping Training buy him out or see if he let a trade happen.If the team needs help at the trade deadline use Kepler then.To put Kirilloff in the outfield gives the team no 1st baseman.Now you have who's on 1st and who's on 2nd.Texas won the WS with the same 1st,2nd and SS playing every game.Can't win the WS with plug and play position players.

    Why even look at Bader as a CF option.He was on IL last year much as on the field.I guess he could keep Buxton company there.This Buxton situation is and has been a problem for years now.It is long past time to deal with it.If he can't play CF at the start of spring training it's time to buy him out.As far as MAT regressing next year no one can know that for sure.Why has the FO been sitting on its hands for so long on this issue.If no MAT and Buxton can't play put Castro there to start the season.

    He relies on his fastball up in the zone too much.It starts out at 93 to 94 and is 90 to 91 with a high pitch count in the 4th inning.Every team knows it and fouls off pitch after pitch.I do think he did fall off after the 9 inning game against the Red Sox.He still has a lot to learn about pitching.

    This team will not have success in the playoffs playing homerun. The game is called baseball and they don't play it. If you really watched when Lewis hit the 2 homeruns in game 1 that was his every at bat after that. I you the Phillies and Diamondbacks last night the Diamondbacks played baseball and won. They had been trying to match the Phillies hitting the long ball. The Twins will disappoint again with this FO and manager. They are all back next year.

    You are missing the point Vazquez is on the wrong side of 30.When Mauer hit 30 people said he needed to change positions.Even the Royals are talking about Perz changing positions.They had him at 1st and DH.The playoffs where a bad sign of things to come.Jeffers was terrible at the plate with runners in scoring position or not.I know you are not going to win any games striking out 52 times in 4 games and Jeffers had 8 of them.Which is now another problem why are they retaining the hitting coach.

    Let's see if he can stay on the field first.Or maybe they should extend AK and Miranda also.That way they all can join Buxton on the IL for 100 games or so.The Twins are a small market team and have to have money players play.Almost all the Braves extended players play.I think Lewis will be happy if the Twins go to playoffs again and again,if not will look elsewhere.
