We didn't "collapse" last season because of Correa. The injuries and the pitching, were the reason. Think of where we'd have been last year without CC.

The real big news of the day is...we just got AJ Alexy from the Nats! We're set now!
  3. CRF
Very good player, no doubt. Not HOF though.
  4. CRF
I sure hope it all goes down as planned, but I'm not holding my breath after seeing what happened with SF and NY. If he does indeed sign...what ELSE are we going to do. We need more than CC staying to make this team competitive.
  5. CRF
    I'll wait for the physical.
  6. CRF
I literally just saw this on another sports site, as breaking news. Tell you what...I'll believe it when the physical is done, and he signs the deal. This whole situation has been a real mess.
  7. CRF
I agree...it's all a Boras game to get the Mets deal done.
  8. CRF
Yep, I've seen several reports this morning, from different sources, saying that talks with the Twins are heating up. Now, whether that's Boras playing his game with the Mets, trying to get them to the finish line...well, I guess we'll see. Maybe there really is something to the Twins getting back into the mix.
  9. CRF
Howz about we trade Pagan back to them? For just about anyone or anything.
  10. CRF
I wish nothing but the best for him, and his family. I hope he makes a full recovery and gets back on the mound as soon as he can.
  11. CRF
Bringing back Sanchez would be stupid at this point. None of these other guys make much sense either, other than Chafin.
  12. CRF
I honestly don't care who he signs with anymore. I just would like it to be over. I'm tired of the whole mess.
  13. CRF
This is all a ploy by Boras to get the Mets deal finished. He's not coming back here.
  14. CRF
I'll never quit the Twins, but I'd SURE love to quit snow blowing the driveway!
  15. CRF
Unfortunately, the only thing I believe about Buxton, is that somehow he'll get injured again and miss a decent chunk of the season.
  16. CRF
    Nah.
  17. CRF
I haven't accomplished anything...so I'd have been out the door many years ago!

At least win the friggin central division. It was there for the taking last season, and just about all of their moves backfired. That could be colossal bad luck, or complete ineptness...depending on how you look at it. The injuries were a killer, and Rocco sure didn't help either. We should know within the first 40-50 games, if we have anything this season, or not. There's still time for some trades to change the outlook too. The fans will stay away in droves, if things don't turn around somewhat. I'm not particularly a Falvey/Levine guy, and I don't care for Rocco at all, but who are you gonna replace them with? I'm not smart enough to know, but I honestly wouldn't mind seeing them gone, and take Baldelli with them...PLEASE!
  19. CRF
    Sure...why not.
  20. CRF
Three for the Twins...and one each for the Vikes and the Wolves. Gotta throw each of those two a bone.
  21. CRF
Yup...unless a nice trade opportunity comes along, they're better off just rolling with what they have now.
  22. CRF
No problem...let's just shake the tree a little bit and one will drop out for us!
  23. CRF
    There goes another one.
  24. CRF
I almost hate to ask after all this...what is "The Trolley Dilemma"? I must have been under my rock when that one came up.
  25. CRF
This whole situation with Correa is completely off the rails. Nothing would surprise me at this point.
