    How's Miguel Sano doing in his bid for MLB comeback? (msn.com) .... Sano reportedly held workouts before the 2023 season but went unsigned. Any team that gives him another shot could probably ink him to a minor-league deal and see what happens. He hit 34 homers in 2019 and 30 more in 2021, so if he's making contact there's a pretty decent chance he'll hit the ball over the wall. By the way, Estrellas Orientales has quite the roster in the D.R. In addition to Sano and Tatis, former MLB stars Robinson Cano and Yasiel Puig are on the team.

    Miranda is a NOT good fielder; Julien is a NOT good fielder -- very similar results.

    Left field is his for now as no one else is better at this point, which is sad. Cannon arm , IF it goes where it is supposed to; runs POOR routes that speed can make up at times. At that, watching Kepler early in the season, the hustle that makes him a top rank fielder was missing , OFTEN. After the AS break, his hustle returned along with his bat.

    Then you absolutely need a good fielding player to take the spot when he is pulled in late innings.

    Kepler's fielding numbers in Center Field are horrid, it would be foolish to play him there.

    I am not a bat first gent, but while Farmer at seccond is a good glove, Polanco's switch hitting would be missed.

    Sign Taylor and alternate them as needed.

    Hoskins has the best bat and sadly, the best fielding at first base. He would probably help the Twins but money for him should go to an above average Center Fielder.

    He is tolerable at 3rd base but that is taken; he is a large hole at 1st base.

    If Buxton can field like he did before he was hurt, he is a HUGE positive to the Twins that only a fielder with the skills of Taylor could replace. If both can/do not play the field next year, a giant hole is the Twins team.

    Kirilloff is only a slightly smaller hole in the outfield than Hoskins is, where as Hoskins is a much smaller hole at first than Kirilloff is

    Well then their combine WAR is 3.4 so you statement makes no sense. He was not better a defender at the end than he was at the start; the only reason was that who ever scored the games babied some Twins by not scoring a LOT of screw-ups as errors. Even the announcers mentioned said same more than once. He is slow and awkward.

    War doe not decide a players true value or Jeffers, Julien would gone. Juliens defense is a hole in the infield. You live by analytics,, I do not.

    An article on line said that defenses against Dobbs now concetrate on stopping his running game. One reason he did not do better against Chicago.
