    No trade = fair chance of winning the division and getting bounced in the playoffs. Trades = perhaps better chance of the division and getting bounced a little later in the playoffs. Luck and improved health = win, baby, win.

    My gut hunch is that there will be one decent RP and one controllable catcher involved. For the reasons you brought up, probably the other bidding wars will go up too high.
