    Yup, a small market team can't pay one player 36 million a year unless he hits 50 home runs and drives in 120 a year. I've been saying that ever since we signed him years. But at least Correa played really solid this year if it weren't for being out for much of the stretch drive when we needed him the most. Now, we are really in a pickle. Just think of how much we could do with a freed-up 36 million. The only way that will happen is if Correa asks for a trade.

    We only have three solid relievers and a bunch of fillers. We better not make the playoffs because we aren't equipped to win, which is such a shame because our starters are really good. We never should have pulled Mathews on Sunday. That was over-managing.

    Exactly, Karbo! Too much weight training. Muscles are stronger, but soft tissue is precisely the same. Do players really need to be that jacked up?

    We've had a third base coaching problem for years. Just now noticing. And when you are having a hard time manufacturing runs it'd tempting tobsend them home with crossed fingers and hopes of a bad throw

    They want to get him more abats. That's the reason they have had him leading off. It's all about getting as many at-bats as possible. I doubt he will set the world on fire next week. Sure hope he starts next year in AA though

    I Lewis is in a slump. Pitchers are figuring out how to pitch to him, and it will take time to adjust. I'm not particularly eager to talk about trading Lewis because we have 48 million dollars hung around our neck in two untradable players. Two months ago he hung the moon and now he's odd man out. This is just frustration from us because the Twins are stinking it up ..
