    100% agree. So much so, that I'm willing to cancel next year if it makes it so. Short term pain for long term gain. And making the Polads spend more money is a good thing. But part of the proposal is for all TV revenue from all markets get spread evenly so I would assume a good chunk of the money Minnesota spends to reach the cap will come from the pool. The NFL and NBA are a better product due to salary cap.

    So, is it just me or do the Twins bats go quite everytime Ryan pitches, especially the first 6 innings making it impossible for Ryan to win games.

    He's out of options. Guess you are thinking no team will pick him up off the waiver wire. Same could be said for Wallner. Plus, they arent hitting well enough to get anything good in a trade.

    All these injuries really take the fun out of baseball. I swear, I just don't remember this many injuries in the sixties and seventies and pitchers pitched longer and more often.

    I was thinking the same. At what point in the summer do we get another year of service out of him. Isn't it June something? Or is it different for each player.

    How about 10 starters and 3 relievers in the pen. So we have a backend starter for each starter and a reliever in the 9th if needed. Just kidding but maybe 2 back end starters so we can get rid of the really horrible group of relievers.. And now, Sands goes on injured reserve.

    Cut Outman and bring E Rod up. Then rotate him aroujd the outfield and give hik at bats.

    It was really a head scratcher when the team traded away their best bullpen arms and then were not active in replacing them. I commend them for hitting on the quality of players they received in return. But, surely they didn't think many ofnthe relief pitchers they started with would make it until summer. So what was their backup plan? I guess we are seeing it. Convert starters once they once they got their feet on the ground in the majors to see if they would be long term answers.

    The Colt Emerson deal would be a no brainer for the Twins but if I was Walter Jenkins I would bet on myself.

    Surprised Rosario is being held back at double A but guess there is a log jam in AAA. Overall, this doesn't seem like a ve4y exciting roster. But I like the fact they are using Mendez more at first base.

    Whatever you do don't put a some slow ahead of Buxton because it will keep him from taking an extra base.
