    Pretty simple, E-Rod up next year over anyone that still has options. I mean, if the Twins gave Outman a long runway even though he was horrible at the end of last year just because he was out of options they most certainly will do it with E-Rod.

    Just think if we had traded Ryan just before the All Star break for a boatload of talent. Detroit made the right move and they are still gaining in us. Got to figure with Ryan's penchant to slow down the second half of the year his trade value will be much less in the offset especially with a lockout looming. Of course know expected Ryan to fall apart. I put the Twins odds of making post season no more than 20%

    That is why I'm willing to the the lockout go the distance. Until Baseball operates like the NFL and NBA a small market team like the Twins has little chance. The other thing about the owners proposal that excites me is having a spending floor in the 171 million range. That would either force ownership to spend more or sell the team to someone else that will But Im sure with new revenue sharing and maybe some TV revenue increase mush of it could be subsidized.

    Nein Neto for me .. I think Houston is our longterm answer and is closer to the majors than most believe. I mean, he moved up to AA and is absolutely destroying the pitching plus, he is by far the best fielder.

    Greene is worth the risk due to his contract and high upside at a time we will need to replace Ryan at least in 2028. And we should and would have to give them a fair deal in return. I say give them JJ McCarthy - Jordan Addison and next years #2
