    How many firstbasemen are 5'11" ? I really don't know and I imagine Killebrew was probably about that height and played first base well. Just seems like taller firstbasemen could get to a lot more bad throws. But we really do need to solve the firstbase situation.

    He's 6' 215 Maybe if he coukd add sime power he could get moved to first base where he doesn't need a strong arm?

    I'm guessing he won't play much unless we get officially eliminated from the play-offs. A lot of pinch running.

    Let's just sit back and enjoy watching his development. Same with Culpepper. And I sure wish we coukd be watching E-Rod with them. By the way, E-Rod went 4 for 5 last night. But Larnach is standing in the way of his development for now.

    Clemens at the 4 spot just doesn't feel right but have to admit we don't have a true 4 - 4 now. I hope Jenkins grows into it with time. You know, by the time he's 23 😄

    So we most likely still won't make the playoffs yet missed an opportunity to trade Jeffers, Rryan and larnach .. Guess they thought they were taking a calculated risk. Thisbtram isn't very good with a calculator.

    I mainly watch the Twins now to see Culpepper play. Bring up E-Rod so I have someone else to entertain me.

    My intuition tells me all 7 playoff teams in the American League will be 500 teams and it also tells me no way we get back to 500.

    Think he can play 1st base? No infield experience but he is a great right handed batter when healthy so maybe alternating him between DH and 1st base would keep him healthy? And it opens up center field for Jenkins.

    You couldn't have made it harder for Luke than putting him in Target right field.

    I've always liked Larnach but for as long as I've watched him he pretty much swings the exact same way like a rob. You watch Jefferson and he adapts with 2 strikes and hits the ball to right. Larnach doesn't seem to have any flexibility in his swing mechanics. Pretty much just swings hard. Has anyone else noticed how smug he looks up there. Kinda of void of emotion. (Mr Loboto) I wonder what kind of trament he is in the dugout.

    He doesn't need to. Soon Houston can play SS and we w8ll be asking can Culpepper hold down second base

    Man, wasn't that Buxton I saw streaking to the ball in the gap Monday night on a ball that looked to be a gapper. Looked pretty darn fast to me. I think range is the most important part of being a centerfielder and as of now Buxton still has it. I wonder how fast E-Rod is. If fast and outfield of Buxton, Jenkins and E-Rod could cover a lot of ground next year.

    Well written and all reasons I've felt we won't see Jenkins until September..

    The trades we made were fine. If we tender Jefferson, someone out bids us and we get a comp pick that woukd be fine. And if we can still get a couple quality players for Ryan in the offseasoj we can still salvage things.

    Right field at Target field with all the challenges of judging where to play fly balls is probably the hardest assignment they could have given him. I would make more sense to play let's say E-Rods position in left field next year against left handed pitching and then rotate him at DH as necessary. More like a handyman than a utility player and somewhat of a back up like say Roden ..

    I've got my eye on Caden Kendall in AA .. Having a terrific year at both Cedar Rapids and Whitchita were he is batting 3.88 OBP 455 SLG 641 AND he's a right handed hitting outfielder. Guess we will see what he's got in AAA next year ..

    I hear you but who would you habe sent down to protect 3 catchers on the roster.
