    I give the Correa trade an A+++ .. Can you imagine where we would be with Correa's extra 70 million keeping us from signing players. Gallagher seems like he might have what it takes to become a good bullpen arm. And Tait is still very young. He just hit his 20th homeruj even though he's batting in the .220's. Plus no telling how many homeruns he will hit by seasons end. Even though he may not have the defensive chops to stick at catcher I coukd see Tait as our DH of the future with potentially 30 homerun capability.

    The good thing is in the event we make the play-offs Ryan's downtime might rejuvenate his arm.

    Pretty simple, E-Rod up next year over anyone that still has options. I mean, if the Twins gave Outman a long runway even though he was horrible at the end of last year just because he was out of options they most certainly will do it with E-Rod.

    Just think if we had traded Ryan just before the All Star break for a boatload of talent. Detroit made the right move and they are still gaining in us. Got to figure with Ryan's penchant to slow down the second half of the year his trade value will be much less in the offset especially with a lockout looming. Of course know expected Ryan to fall apart. I put the Twins odds of making post season no more than 20%

    That is why I'm willing to the the lockout go the distance. Until Baseball operates like the NFL and NBA a small market team like the Twins has little chance. The other thing about the owners proposal that excites me is having a spending floor in the 171 million range. That would either force ownership to spend more or sell the team to someone else that will But Im sure with new revenue sharing and maybe some TV revenue increase mush of it could be subsidized.

    Nein Neto for me .. I think Houston is our longterm answer and is closer to the majors than most believe. I mean, he moved up to AA and is absolutely destroying the pitching plus, he is by far the best fielder.
