    Next year, move Lewis to the outfield as a right-handed bat to more than take Margot's place. Move Correa to third to keep him healthy, Lee to short, Miranda to first base and I'll man second 😄

    So, about Killibrews hammer in Detroit. I was about 10 years old and my parents who lived in Corpus Christi at the time sent me to spend a couple months with my Grandparents who had a cabin on lake Minnewaska. My dad came up to take me home but while he was there I remember my Grandparents l, aunt and uncle, my dad and myself sitting around a small TV. RIGHT BEFORE THE NEXT PITCH MY DAD STOOD UP, POINTED AT THE TV and declared, I predict Harmon will hit a home run on the next pitch. And that's the pitch Killer hit it on the roof of the Tigers stadium. What a memory to have from your youth!

    I just realized I have not posted in a long time. Had to look in the mirror and realize I post when there is something I feel is going wrong, not right 😜 I'm actually happy not to need to post.

    Varland gave up 12 runs in 2.1 innings today. The discussion should be, why in the heck didn't we leave him as a reliever. Don't rock the boat with Jax when we have plenty of starting pitcher options.

    I have been a vocal critic of Correa in the past. It's not Correa, but the money we are paying him. At the end of last year, I said I would hold my tongue this year for at least the first two months. And I'm still gladly holding it. This is what a 35-million-dollar player is supposed to look like!

    How bout we quit worrying about whether a batter is left-handed or right-handed and just worry about whether they are a good hitter or not.

    Plus, Lee is knocking on the door to the majors right now and could take over SS, moving Lewis back to third and Miranda back to first.

    Farmer was the original plan before we resigned Correa, but no one knew Lewis was going to get injured out of the get-go. Correa could have gotten injured out of the get-go. Anybody can, but at the beginning of the season, that's not what people expected. As for who I would have signed, you can start with Sonny Gray with two-thirds of the money. Sonny is 8-4 with a 3.01 era for STL, an average team.

    Is Correa an asset to the team? I sure hope so for 36 million a year. But you must consider what 36 million would have provided you if he wasn't on the team. Let's say Lewis plays SS and Miranda plays 3b, and we use the extra 33 million on other positions. Yay, Correa is overpaid, in my opinion.

    I agree with the move, but I'm more puzzled about what happened to Julien. He hit every step of the way and at the bigs last year. How can you just fall off the cliff like that. I'm beginning to think the mental part of the game when you are in a slump really has a lot to do with not being able to come out of the slump. Meaning the pressure you put on yourself

    You might want to double-check. I'm pretty sure Connor Prielipp's right arm has completely fallen off.

    Seems like the minor league clubs are starting to get clubbed like baby seals. My sense is we have quality through a certain level and then the talent just falls off the table ..
