    Exactly! Management has a history of signing major league low end players and sticking with them all year because, you know, if we cut them we have to eat the rest of their salary and it looks like we made a mistake. Maybe time for a new front office!

    Pitchers! Hell, position players are getting hurt all of the time as wwell.i just don't remember this level of injuries in the old days (1960's - 70's) .. Maybe there is too much weight training. Bigger muscles but same old ligaments and soft tissue.) Just saying ..

    For some reason I never had that warm, fuzzy feeling at the start of the season. Maybe the Twins players didn't either. Maybe today we can totally eclipse that feeling ..

    Thanks, Ted. I had been wondering. It doesn't look like any of our minor league teams are stacked like Cedar Rapids was last year. However, each team has several players to watch. My eyes will be on Brandon Winokur and Walker Jenkins at Fort Meyers.

    That is one sorry-looking group of relievers as a whole. But it is a great-looking group of catchers and infielders with just enough outfield depth if you include Martin. The starting pitching depth is iffy. I haven't looked at Wichita's roster yet. Hopefully, we will have more pitching strength coming to AAA next year. I still think we need to use this years draft to go heavy on pitching ..

    Have to wait for the MRI so we know the severity and Lewis may need to not strain at all out full speed in the future. He got plenty of speed th throttle down a notch. The kids got to play smarter as does Buxton.

    Yep. At the rate our big leagers are dropping like Flys due to injury we will see plenty of Miranda and Larnach.. Not so much Blazo I'm afraid. I just don't think he will ever develop. But, if they want to stay they need tonperform when they get their next chance.

    Max got off to a slow start this spring but is starting to hit now. I just hope he gets off to a hot start thus year because he seems to let failure get into his head and prolongs his slumps. I guess you you could say that about a lot of players though.

    Lefties are perfect to platoon because young up against eighties 75% or more of the time or more. Right handed batters are the platoon guys unless they can hit right handed pitchures reasonably well.

    I promised myself I would not criticize Correa this year. Well, I'll give him April and May. After that he has to perform.

    It's nice to have the depth at left field, and if Kepler gets injured, Wallner can side to right while Larnach takes over left.
