Positive things when a season ends. 1. No loss of income (don't bet on MLB) 2. Able to spend more time with family 3. Better use of time (reading, seminars, etc) 4. Increase church attendance (< 10%) 5. Get involved in a community charity 6. Work on better avoidance of in-laws.

Just a quick thought. How do you rationalize or explain if the Twins should win this game, and continue to have success. What's your alternative to 'never'.? I'm not saying you're wrong, but interested in your thought process.

Alvarez needs to feel some discomfort at the plate during his at bats. He's just waiting for his pitch to drive. a little inside.outside action might get him to start thinking more, and that should be to the Twins' advantage.

I believe the strike zone is calibrated by the stance the batter uses, not solely on his height.

Buxton is a write-off waiting to happen. He provides no value to the team by not playing or pinch hitting. In fact, his presence on the club hamstrings many basic moves on the roster. It's too bad, but all I see is someone who is sucking payroll and dugout space away from others. If the medical staff and Buxton cannot make some firm decisions, then he needs to go. These timetables for return were derived from a crystal ball, IMO.

Stats can be so deceiving. We all know that. It's what you do and when, that counts. How many times have we seen this or close to scenario: Walk, hit, strikeout, another walk, BOOM (3 run homer)back to back strikeouts.
