John Bonnes Site Manager Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Just about every morning, the press has an opportunity to ask Twins players questions for any stories they're thinking about doing. If you had that opportunity, who would you want to talk to, and what would you ask them?
eLee612 Provisional Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Where ya sitting today JB? I'll come say hi! ... My biggest question (/concern) was how Florimon was doing after his appendectomy, and when he would be back!? Not that I'm in love or anything. Per Scott Ulger yesterday, not until next week, which is when I'll be back in Minneapolis of course. Le sigh... I always really like to hear the veteran players (and secured roster spots) thoughts on what the hurdles are going into the year. Not always easy to get an honest answer on that, but they know it better than anyone. I would also like to ask Gardy if I can adopt him as the grandpa I never had. Akin to the Adopt a Highway program… I would just like to adopt a Gardy.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I'd ask Gardy why he keeps putting Hicks in the leadoff spot.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 We've heard much from Joe Mauer of his transition, but I was curious is it was at all 'weird' for the other catchers to not have him in the group this year? Have any of them still sought him out at all to ask him 'catching stuff' or, for the sake of the transition, just giving him his space?

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I'd ask Trevor Plouffe if he's now able to pick up the ball off the bat faster now that he's not constantly looking over his shoulder.
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 IALTO Not certain the feeling will always be mutual.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Bartlett: How it feels to be back to where he made is MLB debut. Hughes: Asking about the differences between the yankees clubhouse and the Twins during spring training. Perkins: What kind of designer jeans would look the best on him.
jharaldson Verified Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 For Hughes, what was the perception of the Twins when you were on the Yankees and sweeping them from the playoffs? For Thielbar, what do you think about those new Saints ticket prices? ;-)
ashbury Verified Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 For Hughes, what was the perception of the Twins when you were on the Yankees and sweeping them from the playoffs? "Nobody remembers back that far." ?
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Tell them to answer in the form of a question, Jeopardy style 1. We gotta play em one day at a time.2. I'm just happy to be here, hope I can help the ballclub.3. I just wanna give it my best shot, and the good Lord willing, things will work out
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Kubel: Do you think you'll be able to hit better in Target Field now that the trees are gone?
big dog Verified Member Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Dozier- what did you do differently in the second half of the season, and what have you figured out? What adjustments might you have to make this year based on how pitchers might change their plan?
