Well, that’s not an absolute. Could’ve had a righty versus righty. as the next batter which is in the Twins favor. And what they did was make him hit their pitch. They weren’t gonna give him anything good to hit. If they walked him they walked him.

He was the best during post-season on radio before MLB grabbed all the broadcast rights. His son does radio, bouncing one of my faves - Ben Wagner, who ended up doing Orioles radio.

And what was the stat Ober got earlier when he threw a Maddux? Was it a shut out in <90 pitches or a 100?

 

Just askin' cause Matthews is at 89, and 11 pitch 9th inning is possible, but the only way i can think to throw a 1 pitch inning is intentionally walking 2 or 3 batters batters and picking them off or double triple playing them...
