And every team used to have a dedicated innings eater that you could trust to go out there and give you 5-6 innings every game with a chance to win.  Terry Mulholland made a 20 year career out of it.

I was just thinking today that if all the Twins hitters could start hitting at 75 to 80% of what they were hitting when they were consistently at their best for an extended period this year we could put a nice run together these last 30 games. Is this the start of that?
