Yes..for now...but better than anybody else.. good fielder and has been hitting lately...and again.  His batting stats for the season still rank towards the top of the team...dont understand why he has his haters..760 OPS ranks 1st..slugging ranks 1st..OPB ranks 4th...Avg..ranks 4th...I am not even counting ... top 4 in all hitting categories...people love royce and buck...there  are others on the team

Culpepper has shown that you can call up young players and while they may make mistakes, they can make positive contributions.

Clemens needs to be the super utility guy and not an everyday player getting 350 to 400 AB's.

..super utility player who is actually the individual who has the best overall documented stats than any player on the team. ..including getting on base the most ...well.  ..we disagree. ...

If the twins who have 3 home runs could get anyone on base with bunts , hbp , any kind of hits or walks the twins could be leading this game by a big margin

I Don't disagree about the future COMMENT.. .also need to look at a Buxton change...as he is NOT the future..may hurt some hearts...but the future is waiting across the river...If he performs the rest of the season like he is currently.. sooner the better..just keeping him for the salary dump I guess

Culpepper has a handful of At Bats; or have you forgotten Lewis' fantastic start followed by total failure.

In a month, if Culpepper can stay ahead of the pitchers, then maybe....

His performance now is wants counts.. I can list numerous of players who has changed teams.  Arraez  has been on 5 teams.  He is not in that category.but  .France is on his 3rd team in 1 year and he is batting 290..so ??

No team has given him a real opportunity since he left Detroit …

twins have given him significant playing time since he came over from the Phillies …
