See how fast Vogt pulled Armstrong?

He has a Gaddis. We might have a Anderson.

So it was ok when the twins had their big three bullpen arms and pulled starters before the selloff?

We might not be out of the playoff conversation but I think we won't be buying after tonight.

We have no starters in St. Paul, we better hope Preliepp can hold up, because they have no starters down there.  And we will be seeing a lot more games like this if he doesn't.  They are throwing a bullpen game in the first game of the week.

You'll have to ask Rocco.

Without hitting it's a moot point.

When a pitcher shows he is done, a fresh arm is better no matter who it is. Double, HBP, Single in his third inning is asking for too much. Lucky to get 2 innings out of him much less stretching him to 3. Shelton needs to find someone else to make the pitching changes. He hasn't had a clue all year.

My top preference is the twins win it all, followed by losing the WS, followed by losing the AL championship, followed by a sell off. I remain hopeful one of those will happen....

I can prob tell you which one is the most probable.

True, but at least if we had some pitching it makes watching a little easier.

We are seeing that tonight ☺️

Maybe keep Paredes stretched out instead of moving him back and forth between the bullpen and starting.  He actually gave us a couple of good outings and went into the fifth inning which is acceptable for a fifth starter.

Were you in a hurry to get Nance or Anderson in there.  In fairness to Shelty, he has to choose between crap and crappier.

A fresh arm, yes.  Why leave someone in that is washed for the night?

Interesting point from Provus, Cleveland has 7 rookies on their team and have a better record.  Maybe playing all these AAAA types isn't as productive as letting the rookies play and learn.  Of course you have to develop them as well.

Don’t tell that to rpr
