I'll say it's a tough trend to correct.  Umps for generations have basically called that 3-0 pitch a strike if it stays within the area code of the plate.

I'd send Fedko out no question. I don't know that they will carry 3 catchers though.

You would have to wonder if the Twins would be willing to carry 3 catchers, especially if they think they will move Jeffers by the end of the month.  You could DFA or send Gray down, if he has options left.  Caratini, Clemens, or even Bell (scary, but still true!) can play 1B and Lewis can still play 3rd to give Lee a day off.  If you intend on moving Jeffers, this will only be a 2–3 week ordeal.

I really like the July 4 Uni, especially the cap which I would like to have except for it wouldn’t be white very long.

Agreed! I've mentioned before that I work in furniture, and white is the hot color right now - can never understand because my whites stay that color for like 30 minutes...
