My hope for Lewis is that he doing a lot of cage work and he is working on some mechanics at the plate.  I foresee him in the starting lineup Friday night in Cleveland.  Just looked it up.  The stupid game is on Apple TV.

Yup. What sucks for Royce is that this is will be the third season in a row where his mechanics at the plate have sucked, and I think it is more mental than anything else. Not sure if he's going to find his way.

They need to let Lewis play up here this year and see if he can be part of the future.  He wasn't playing that poorly before he got hurt, he has come back slow.  There are no legitimate options to play in place of Lewis other than Culpepper.  I wouldn't replace him with a AAAA vet, that doesn't help the team long term.
