It also seems to me that we've had some of these mundane things pushed back before because the Wilfs' don't live here and there was a scheduling issue.

But yeah, it could be something big brewing or it could be sensitivity to the local situation.

B-Flo's right hand man Daronte Jones is getting interviews with both NYJ and Dallas for their DC opening. It feels like we're going to lose at least one of these guys to a new opportunity. Hopefully not both.

Jones has a nice little resume for Dallas. I think if he leaves us, that's the most likely scenario. But I think if Flores goes, he gets promoted to our DC.

You would hope it wouldn't mirror the Twins' situation post 2019.  Rowson left to become the bench coach (Miami I think?), because Shelton was still the Twins bench coach.  After Rowson left, Shelton got the Pirates gig, so the Twins go to keep neither, even though had the order of leaving been reversed, they probably would've kept Rowson.

All that to say, I'd rather lose Jones than Flores, but if Jones leaves first, I'll be very nervous about Flores right up until every HC slot is filled.

If winning your division (even crap like Carolina's) doesn't get a playoff spot then why have divisions.

I like the divisions and rivalries personally. Situations like Carolina only happen once a decade at most

That’s fair. I don’t think Bryce Young will ever be a top 10 QB in the league but he’s middle of the pack. Carolina probably has to extend him and that’s when they’ll get in trouble
