Fair, but like I said. Last year they got him a qb in FA who had a career year. This year they totally bungled it. I think the Vikings try to be competitive in a way I can’t say about the twins, for instance. There should be some leeway IMO

Okay so who is the answer?  Who is the answer to this riddle?  Is anyone freely available sliding into this cap situation and making a difference?  The answer is no.  They are screwed.

The reality is that they've broken this beyond repair and have to start over from scratch.  They are as far away from success as they could possibly be.  Their gross miscalculation of the capability of their worthless first round QB has set the franchise back three years minimum

I agree, these are the effects of taking a big gamble and missing. In retrospect, it was a shocking mis-evaluation of talent. Assuming they did think they could compete with what they had on the rest of the roster otherwise.

If they didn't think they could compete, then definitely don't sign the two DL....

They're getting to the point where they're going to lose credibility with the locker room if they try to accept the status quo.  Trying to run it back would be the equivalent of signing their own death warrant

It's costing next year at the very least. In order to minimize this to 2 years or less, Kwesi has to go at a bare minimum. Any future draft he controls is wasting time.

What does this even mean? Was KOC supposed to be all, what at that point? I'm sure he was plenty pissed all night.

Right, was he supposed to pout and slap Darnold? I seriously have to tell my kids that it’s OK to have a bad day at school but you don’t get to spend the rest of the night intentionally making everyone else miserable.

I wonder what happens if (big if) JJMc plays rest of year and is slightly above average but nowhere near great and they win out.

5 games isn’t enough time for him to make them feel good enough to not bring someone else in. Not close, really.

I'm 99% sure that is sarcasm.

Correct. As big of a problem his actual play is, his availability to play in games is even worse through 2 years of his career.

I guess you can look at it this way. You can bring someone in and the odds of the Vikings getting worse play from that guy are very low

6 out of 29 available games he’s played in during the regular season.

The game being thrown for the Broncos is going to be a pretty big talker this week.

I'm not a conspiracy theory dude so I'm not buying it, but this is a real bad look.

Especially considering officials sometimes reverse penalties on reviews. Something that isn’t a judgement call called incorrectly should be changed

And considering they constantly lie about whether a call was reversed due to a conference by the officials, or a call from New York.

I didn't know QB-gami was a thing... there's got to be a whole lot of unique one of those.

Absolutely, think of all the yardage numbers alone
