$30 million over the salary cap with one of the oldest rosters in the NFL. We have way too many holes at the moment and won't be fixed until someone else is drafting our players.

I'm aware, it's closer to $40M, but they're going to add a veteran of some level. I'd pay him something in the range of $10M unless he gets bid out of that. We will have that kind of money to spend.

For sure. If the next 5 games goes like this one, we will be investing more 1st round picks and players for that QB. But no matter what, we have to trade for a QB who can be a plug and play starter if/when s*** hits the fan.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but it just adds another level of sad to this dumpster fire of a season:

Adam Thielen - hometown franchise legend, brought in at the expense of a mid-round pick to shore up the position at the start of the season - has been reduced to a healthy scratch. 

I think you could argue that Moss' return to the Vikes went better than this - at least it helped get Chilly fired

To be fair though, he’s not been good. He could try to receive a ring but he’d probably drop it. The bigger story is how dysfunctional things are if a guy at the end of his career doesn’t want to finish up with his hometown team for a measly 5 games
